League of Legends Worlds DFS Picks for 10/8/20: DraftKings, Fanduel, League of Legends k tc

Billy Hoffer’s League of Legends (LoL) DFS advice and DraftKings, FanDuel lineup picks for LoL World Championship slates on 10/8/20. His top LoL value plays and eSports DFS recommendations.

Hello, eSports enthusiasts, and welcome back to our continued eSports DFS coverage of League of Legends for DraftKings and FanDuel! I'm Billy (aka "the kid") Hoffer and I'm back with some WORLDS analysis for you today!

We have six games all within Group A. Four teams will all play a round robin against eachother and Draftkings is doing it the smart way by putting all the games on one slate, while Fanduel has given us two two-game slates, ew.

Today I'll be providing my League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for this LoL Worlds slate on DraftKings and Fanduel only that locks at 4:00 AM on Thursday, October 8th, 2020. If you're not already doing so, then make sure you follow me on Twitter @Hofferkid! With four teams in play tonight, each playing three games, I will be talking about each team and how I think their games play out.

Suning

Suning got through the first round robin stage at 2-1 and stand at second in the group. Suning opens up this morning against Machi at 5AM ET. I like Suning to go 3-0 today and on Fanduel, I like using Suning as my smaller stack on both slates but definitely would not mind a full stack on either slate as Machi dies a lot in losses and TL should be coming out to fight after getting absolutely embarrassed last time out against Suning. On Draftkings, where all three games are played in the same slate, I would take Suning as my four-man stack, as most likely go over to G2. We have seen both Angel and Huanfeng hard carry in games and show massive upside, Sofm is another great option as he holds over a 70% Kill Participation.

Top SN Plays:

  • Huanfeng - ADC
  • Sofm - JNG
  • Angel - MID
  • Bin - TOP
  • SwordArt - SUP

G2 esports

G2 started round one of round robin play at 2-0 before unexpectedly dropping a game against Team Liquid and looking terrible while doing so. G2 has played aggressive all tournament leading to high kill games and high scores on both sides. G2 opens the night right where they left off the first round of round robin, playing against Team Liquid. I like G2 to get revenge in that game and I am hoping Liquid just beating them two days ago sways ownership a bit. I also like G2 to beat Machi, but lose to Suning. On FD, I will be using G2 as my primary stack on at least one and maybe both slates. On DK, a full stack is likely chalky, but brings a lot of kill upside to the table. The JNG/MID duo of Jankos and Caps  is my favorite spot on this G2 squad.

Top G2 Plays:

  • Caps - MID
  • Jankos - JNG
  • Perkz - ADC
  • Wunder - TOP
  • Mikyx - SUP

Team Liquid

I'll keep this simple, I am not playing Liquid, and I don't think you should either. They looked terrible in their opener against Machi, and followed it up with one of the worst performances I have ever seen against Suning. They were able to pick up a win against G2, but I am not taking much from that. If TL were to take one tonight, it likely comes against Machi. But I don't think they win that and I have them going 0-3 tonight. If you do feel the need to go here, Jensen should be your captain.

Top TL Plays:

  • Jensen - MID
  • Broxah - JNG
  • CoreJJ - SUP
  • Tactocal - ADC

Machi E-Sports

Machi comes in at 1-2 and third in group A after the first time through round robin. Machi looked good, competing in every game and stealing a win off of TL, which I like them to do again tonight. PK is often called upon as a hard carry for Machi in the TOP lane. He may just be my favorite one-off on the slate and will likely make my Fanduel lineups on one if not both slates. I'll take Machi to go 1-2 here with losses to G2 and Suning but I do not mind Machi as a GPP stack as we know they can hang around with these teams. If looking to full stack, I like playing the BOT lane Bruce and Koala

Top Machi Plays:

  • PK - TOP
  • Bruce - ADC
  • Gemini - JNG
  • Koala - SUP
  • M1ssion - MID

Summary

  1.  Summary: Suning goes 3-1, G2 2-1, Machi 1-2, Liquid 0-3
  2.  I love G2 as a full stack due to likely higher kill games, but I think Suning is your best bet for three wins
