Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa Available in Week 2
Notre Dame linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa (knee) is off the injury report and good to go for Week 2 against Rice. He missed Week 1 with his knee injury, so if he plays in Week 2, it will be his season debut. Viliamu-Asa is listed as a backup behind Drayk Bowen, but he'll be a welcome addition on defense after tallying 48 tackles, three sacks and an interception a season ago. Viliamu-Asa also got in games with Notre Dame in 2024, tallying 37 tackles, one sack and one interception. Without the backup linebacker in Week 1 against Wisconsin, Notre Dame's defense only surrendered 13 points and 284 yards. The matchup against Rice this week is more favorable, so fantasy owners should expect a big outing from the Fighting Irish defense.
