Kenny Minchey Aiming To Provide Stability To Kentucky Offense
Kentucky transfer quarterback Kenny Minchey is set to be the starter in his first season in Lexington. Minchey comes in from Notre Dame, where he only appeared in 10 games over three seasons. He has limited experience as the Irish's backup quarterback, but has talent and has gained invaluable experience learning from the likes of Sam Hartman, Riley Leonard, and CJ Carr. Will Stein handpicked Minchey as his guy for year one at Kentucky, and has been coaching him up all spring. Behind Stein's offensive mind, Minchey is in a good system for his further development. The Wildcats have struggled mightily on offense the past few seasons, and the combination of Minchey and Stein should help provide a bit of stability to what has been an unwatchable unit.
