Austin Simmons Hoping To Grasp Opportunity At Missouri
Once touted as the next star quarterback at Ole Miss, Austin Simmons now finds himself at a different SEC school after losing the starting job to Trinidad Chambliss in 2025. While he doesn't have a ton of experience after sitting behind Jaxson Dart in 2024 and Chambliss for the majority of last season, Simmons has natural talent. His career-defining moment to date remains his clutch drive against Georgia in 2024 while filling in for an injured Dart. Simmons has thrown for 1,026 yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions in his career, and will look to continue the connection with former Ole Miss teammate Cayden Lee at Missouri.
