College Basketball Daily Fantasy Picks Tonight - Best Lineups and Sleepers for DraftKings (12/13/25)

Braden Smith - College Basketball DFS Lineup Picks, CBB DraftKings

Free college basketball DFS picks and lineup advice for all three slates on DraftKings. Mike's expert NCAA DFS projections and sleepers help you build winning lineups for December 13, 2025.

With college football's regular season over, it's time to get some college basketball back on here! Bowl season starts today, but there are only three games. We have tons of college basketball on! DraftKings has created three separate slates for college basketball Saturdays this year. I'll give the rundown on all three of them!

We've got some big names and some great matchups today. We'll go through all of those for each slate. We'll give you the core pieces with which you can build a cash or GPP lineup. Then, we'll have some value plays to make it all fit. And for you Ricky Bobby types, we'll give you guys who have a great ceiling with a low floor because, "if you ain't first, you're last."

Here are my picks across all CBB DFS slates on Saturday, December 13, with the main slate starting at noon EST on DraftKings. The afternoon slate tips off at 3 p.m. EST. The late slate starts at 7 p.m. EST.

Today's Main Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

  • St. John's vs. Iona
  • Butler vs. Providence
  • Oklahoma frontcourt vs. Oklahoma State
  • Iona frontcourt vs. St. John's
  • Purdue vs. Marquette

Core Pieces:

Michael Ajayi, Butler ($9.9K)

The transfer out of a guard-oriented Gonzaga team has been a great move for Ajayi. He has six double-doubles in eight games already this season. A seventh feels imminent against Providence.

Jaxon Kohler, Michigan State ($8.2K)

Kohler is one of the more consistent pieces you'll find in the college game. He has scored in double figures in every game and is averaging 9.6 rebounds per game. He's a double-double threat in every game, even the ones that don't stay close.

Jaylin Sellers, Providence ($6.1K)

Sellers is just a solid piece of the Providence team. He has been above 19 DK points in every game. If his shot is falling, you'll see him in the 30s. It's nice having a good upside along with a stable floor in this price range.

Value Pieces:

Somtochukwu Cyril, Georgia ($4.7K)

Cyril is a giant disruptor when he is in the game. He has at least two blocks in all but one game despite not playing more than 23 minutes. He lacks polish, but the raw talent is there on both ends of the court. He won't break the slate yet, but Cyril has between 18 and 24 DK points in all but one game.

Jadon Jones, Oklahoma ($4.4K)

Jones, who last played for Long Beach State in 2023-24, is still trying to find his role on the team after missing the first four games with a groin injury. He has proven to be a solid scorer and rebounder off the bench. He's good for around 15-18 DK points a night. We'll live with that. In this range, consistency is the most important thing.

C.J. Cox, Purdue ($4K)

Cox is often an afterthought on this Purdue team, but he has played at least 20 minutes in every game on one of the best teams in the country. There is some solid potential here.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Braden Smith, Purdue ($10.4K)

We finally saw a ceiling game out of Smith, and it still happened in a game that wasn't close. This one likely isn't close either, but if this team gets back to running everything through Smith, we'll see more ceiling games than the floor games that he started the season with.

Jeremy Fears Jr., Michigan State ($8.1K)

Fears is every bit the passer that Smith is. He just hasn't refined the rest of his game to the point that Smith has. Still, the point totals haven't been that far off. Smith is capable of breaking 50 and flirting with 60. The ceiling on Fears is still in the mid-40s.

Nijel Pack, Oklahoma ($7.5K)

Pack is almost exclusively a scorer, which makes him a sizable risk every time that his shot isn't falling. His floor is the mid-teens, which is tough to swallow. However, his ceiling is above 40 if he gets hot. The true definition of a GPP play.

Today's Afternoon Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

  • Louisville vs. Memphis
  • Kansas State guards vs. Creighton
  • Nebraska frontcourt vs. Illinois
  • Creighton frontcourt vs. Kansas State

Core Pieces:

Darryn Peterson, Kansas ($8K)

Peterson is the projected first pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. That's how much talent he has. Kansas hasn't really turned him loose yet and took it easy with him against Missouri in his first game back from a hamstring injury.

Peterson has 99.5 DraftKings points in 74 minutes this season. What happens when he finally plays 30 minutes in a game? There's no better bang for the buck at this price.

Cameron Corhen, Pittsburgh ($7.1K)

A game with Villanova is usually a slugfest, so having a guy like Corhen in a game like that is a good idea. He's a bully on the boards who has refined his scoring this year and is an underrated passer. Corhen cleared 20 DK points against Hofstra in a game in which he only scored seven points. That's a great floor, and he doesn't rely on scoring to get it.

Acaden Lewis, Villanova ($7K)

Lewis is a very consistent piece of the Villanova offense that doesn't require scoring to hit his DFS mark. He can score, but he's much more of an asset in assists and rebounds, giving him the kind of floor we want in this range.

Value Pieces:

Devin Askew, Villanova ($5K)

Askew has given the Wildcats some much-needed scoring in the last two games, putting up a combined 35 points. Not bad for a guy who is still only averaging 9.9 points on the season. If he enters the starting lineup, look out!

Boden Skunberg, Illinois State ($4.9K)

Every once in a while, you'll find a big piece of a mid-major team in this price range. Skunberg has started the last four games for the Redbirds and averaged 15 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.8 steals in those games.

Adrian Wooley, Louisville ($3.8K)

Wooley was shut out in 18 minutes against Indiana, but he still hit double figures in DK points. Despite being a bench piece, Wooley is active on the boards when he is in there and is usually a capable scorer (7.7 points per game).

Slate-Breaking Potential:

PJ Haggerty, Kansas State ($9.9K)

Haggerty has topped 50 DK points twice and been under 20 once. He's the ultimate boom-or-bust play in a matchup with a team that can score with anyone. No one else can touch the ceiling of Haggerty.

Ryan Conwell, Louisville ($8.8K)

Conwell is much the same as Haggerty, with a lower ceiling. He has had one game below 20 DK points and one over 50. The difference is that Conwell is significantly cheaper and has a higher middle. Haggerty is priced up in what will be a fast-paced game with Creighton.

Keaton Wagler, Illinois ($6.6K)

Wagler is on a heater in his last two games, putting up 39 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists. He has been a solid contributor for Illinois all season, but he can break a slate when the shot is falling. He has 69 DK points over the last two games at a bargain price.

Today's Late Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

  • Michigan vs. Maryland
  • Arizona vs. Alabama
  • LSU frontcourt vs. SMU
  • Utah frontcourt vs. Mississippi State

Core Pieces:

Boopie Miller, SMU ($10.4K)

Miller has at least 30 DK points in every game this year. That's exactly the floor I want when paying top dollar for a player in my DFS lineups. Miller is a much better cash play since he hasn't broken 50 DK points yet, but that could come at any time.

Amari Allen, Alabama ($8.6K)

The freshman just keeps getting better. He has scored in double figures in five straight and posted back-to-back double-doubles. He has even upped his assist rate (20 in the last four games). It's a tough matchup against Arizona, but Alabama has succeeded in pacing up everyone this year. Arizona is no exception.

Samet Yigitoglu, SMU ($6.7K)

The guards do the bulk of the scoring for SMU, but there's a lot to go around when they score around 90 points per game. Yigitoglu is a good rim protector, a great rebounder, and has improved his scoring this season. He has between 20 and 34 DK points in every game. That's what we want in a cash lineup.

Value Pieces:

Shawn Jones Jr., Mississippi State ($5K)

Jones is a starter for the Bulldogs, but sometimes he does little more than cardio. Still, we love the value plays to play a lot of minutes. You can't be on a court for 35 minutes a game and not find your way into some rebounds and a few points. Jones won't break a slate, but he's good for 15-20 DK points per game with decent potential for more.

Jackson Fields, West Virginia ($4.8K)

Fields missed the first few weeks of the season thanks to an injury, but he has at least 15 DK points in all four games he has played. The Troy transfer has upped his minutes in every contest so far. he should play 20-24 minutes in this one, making him a solid bargain.

Sam Alexis, Indiana ($4.1K)

I wish the minutes were more consistent, but Alexis can ignite this offense with points off the bench. Or he can only take a few shots and do nothing. Alexis is a dart throw, but a big one since he has at least 28 DK points in three of the last four games.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Yaxel Lendeborg, Michigan ($9.8K)

Lendeborg has only played 30 minutes in a game once this season. That was in one of Michigan's two close games. The Wolverines are blowing everyone out right now, so that limits their ability to put up ceiling games.

Lendeborg is a force everywhere on the court and is a great passer out of the middle. The ceiling is very high if the game manages to stay close. Even if it doesn't, he's capable of hitting 50. He did in a 40-point win over Gonzaga and a 25-point win against Middle Tennessee State.

Bruce Thornton, Ohio State ($9.4K)

It has crossed my mind that Thornton may be the only good player on this team and is definitely the only one worth using in DFS. Thornton is an elite scorer and has been a much better passer this year. He even notched a double-double in rebounds. Thornton is everywhere for the Buckeyes.

B.J. Edwards, SMU ($7.8K)

Edwards has one of the best ceilings you'll see at any price. He put up 74.8 DK points on Arkansas State earlier this year. He posted a triple-double in points, assists, and steals while also grabbing five boards. He missed a triple-double against the Aggies last week by one point and one rebound.
