ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has struggled since joining the team three years ago. The former superstar had some positive moments with the Browns but hasn’t returned to the elite fantasy quarterback he was with the Houston Texans.
Watson is the QB13 over the first two weeks, averaging 13.1 fantasy points per game. He had a solid performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, totaling 15.4 fantasy points. The veteran had five rushing attempts for 20 yards and a touchdown, accounting for 51.8% of his fantasy total in Week 2.

Fantasy players in deeper or superflex leagues should add Watson off the waiver wire. While he won’t be a superstar, the veteran is a capable starting option over the next few weeks. Watson faces the New York Giants, Washington Commanders, and Philadelphia Eagles over the next month. All three teams have struggled to slow down opposing passing attacks in 2024.
