Tua Tagovailoa start 'em, sit 'em fantasy football lineup picks for Wild Card Weekend. Should you start or sit Tua Tagovailoa in playoffs fantasy football lineups (2023)?
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tua Tagovailoa had a solid 2023 regular season. He was the Q11 for the year, averaging 15.9 fantasy points per game. The star quarterback started the season on fire but struggled to close it out.
Tagovailoa averaged only 12 fantasy points per game over the final five contests, totaling more than 14.9 only once. He was a bust during the fantasy football playoffs, averaging only 1.3 passing touchdowns and 14.5 fantasy points per game.
Miami has struggled with injuries over the past several weeks. Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Raheem Mostert have all missed time since the start of December. Unfortunately, all three are banged up heading into Saturday night’s playoff matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
To make matters worse for Tagovailoa – the weather will be historically cold. Reportedly, the temperature will drop to negative degrees, with the wind chill pushing it down even further. Anyone playing in DFS this weekend should avoid Tagovailoa. He is a bottom-five starting option of the 14 NFL playoff quarterbacks.
NEWS: #Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will NOT wear gloves for the game in Kansas City.
