Taysom Hill is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for tight ends. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 5 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints tight end/do-it-all weapon Taysom Hill is a fantasy football cheat code. Last week, he had zero work in the passing game. Yet, the veteran scored 14.4 half-point PPR fantasy points despite leaving the game early with a rib injury. Hill had six rushing attempts for 24 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons.

While the veteran can be a fantasy football cheat code, he can also be a massive bust. Hill had 6.5 total fantasy points over the first two weeks before missing the Week 3 matchup with a chest injury. Fantasy players should only use Hill in deeper leagues or as a desperation streaming option.
Unfortunately, the tight end position has been a nightmare for fantasy players over the first month. Hill has two receptions for two yards. Yet, he is the TE15 for the year. His role on the ground is inconsistent, making him hard to trust.
Fantasy players in deeper leagues with a massive need at the tight end position should add Hill off the waiver wire. Everyone else should avoid the veteran tight end.
