BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 59% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Pittsburgh Steelers always find a way to have a good defensive unit, and this year has been no different. Mike Tomlin's men have been a top-five fantasy defensive unit despite allowing the third-most yards in the league. How is that possible, you may ask? Well, they know how to stop their opponents when it matters most.
This is exactly why they are currently sporting a 4-3 record despite having the second-worst offense in the league. By allowing their opponents just two minutes and fifty seconds per drive, they have caused 18.3% of these drives to end in turnovers and just 16.7% of them to end in touchdowns.
Simply ridiculous 💪 @_TJWatt

This ranks the Steelers' defense 12th in the least points allowed per drive, but their ability to cause turnovers has been the X-Factor for this defense. Only the Jaguars have caused more turnovers than the Steelers, as the Yellow and Black have had 15 takeaways.
T.J. Watt has been a machine ever since returning from injury. J.J.'s younger brother is the heart and soul of this defense, racking up the third most sacks in the league (8.5) and recovering the most fumbles as a defensive player (3 recoveries).
Their All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick is currently sidelined due to injury, but their schedule is filled with teams who have struggled offensively, so they should be fine once Fitzpatrick recovers. From Week 9 to Week 14 they will play the Titans (19th in points per drive), the Packers (17th), the Browns (23rd), the Bengals (29th, though it's inflated due to their early season struggles), the Cardinals (20th), and the Patriots (30th). This is one of the most favorable schedules for a defensive unit this season, and you can take advantage of that by adding this DST to your squad if your current defense is struggling.
