Andy's must-have bench stashes and sneaky fantasy football waiver wire adds, sleepers ahead of Week 14 in 2025. Pick up these high-upside players before Week 14.
The fantasy football playoffs are just one week away. Hopefully, you have already booked your ticket to the postseason and can now begin to plan for the weeks ahead.
In this weekly piece, we will continue to spotlight high-upside lottery tickets that can push you over the edge during the final month of the fantasy season.
However, these suggestions are not meant to be your "one-week" replacement players. The vast majority of these players hold minimal standalone value but could become must-start players as soon as they receive a boost in the depth chart. High-Upside Fantasy Football Stashes - Running Backs
Brian Robinson Jr., San Francisco 49ers
15% rostered
After Blake Corum made my column last weekend and enjoyed a strong showing when Kyren Williams was on the sidelines with an injury, the other must-stash handcuff will confidently sit at the top of the running back section this week. In San Francisco, Brian Robinson Jr. is the clear RB2 behind workhorse Christian McCaffrey and would be a league-winner in the event the often-injured superstar misses time.
This season, Robinson is the only other running back on the roster who has taken a carry. While many expected second-year RB Isaac Guerendo to make a strong case for the No. 2 job, Robinson has, without a doubt, claimed this role on the roster.
Throughout most of the season, Robinson has logged less than 20% of the snaps in each game while McCaffrey has seen a three-down role. While Robinson has begun to see a slight uptick in opportunities, averaging 7.2 attempts per game since Week 5, he has not been fantasy-relevant.
During this stretch, Robinson has posted a promising 5.1 YPC and has even punched in two goal-line scores.
Seeing McCaffrey average 17.2 attempts and 8.2 targets per game over the course of the first 13 weeks suggests Robison could have the upside to see nearly 20 touches a game in the event he misses time. Managers with an open roster spot should look to target Robinson during his Week 14 bye. He is one of the few lottery tickets available in most leagues.
Tank Bigsby, Jacksonville Jaguars
10% rostered
The other running back to consider stashing ahead of Week 14 is also a pure handcuff. Even though Saquon Barkley has not come close to replicating his legendary 2024 season, he has remained Philadelphia's clear workhorse. Through 13 weeks, Bigsby and Will Shipley have had a minimal role, with Barkley dominating the workload.
Since Week 10, Barkley has seen over 80% of the snaps in all but one game and is averaging 17.8 attempts and 3.8 targets per game. However, back in Week 8, when Barkley had a brief injury scare, Bigsby was the one who got the call, not Shipley. During their dominant victory over the Giants, Bigsby immediately made an impact, replacing Barkley, totaling 104 yards on nine attempts. In this same game, Shipley took only three carries for two yards.

Unlike Robinson's upside, Bigsby will likely share the passing work with Shipley, as he has seen more total targets this season. However, Bigsby would project to be the ideal early-down option and, more importantly, the goal-line option (outside of the one-yard tush push runs for Jalen Hurts).
Other RBs to Consider Stashing:
- Isaiah Davis, NYJ
- Ray Davis, BUF
- Malik Davis, DAL
High-Upside Fantasy Football Stashes - Wide Receivers
Luther Burden III, Chicago Bears
10% rostered
Luther Burden has continued to see his role in the offense grow, and yet his rosterhip percentage continues to decline. During their thrilling victory over the Eagles on Black Friday, Burden saw a season-high six targets and brought in four of them for 33 yards. Over his last three games, Burden has seen at least five targets in each game and has averaged 3.3 receptions and 35.3 yards per game.
While his production in the box score has yet to jump off the page, seeing him continue to grow in the offense suggests a late-season breakout could be possible. During this stretch, Burden has finally surpassed Olamide Zaccheaus for the No. 3 role in this offense. In addition, over the past two, Burden saw 51% of the snaps in each game, which were both season-highs.
While the Chicago passing room is crowded, top wideout Rome Odunze (foot) is dealing with a foot injury and has already been ruled out for Week 14, which could eventually open up even more targets for Burden down the stretch if this injury lingers.
Given his increased usage and elite upside he has shown with the ball in his hands (12.6 YPR), Burden is a priority stash in all 3-WR formats. He is a must-add ahead of Week 14.

Malik Washington, Miami Dolphins
15% rostered
With Tyreek Hill (knee) done for the season, Malik Washington has gradually begun to claim the WR2 role. Over the past month, Washington has finally surpassed veteran Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for this role and is now on the field for the majority of the offensive snaps.
Over his last two games, Washington has logged 50% and 61% of the snaps, a significant increase from the 45% he had back in Week 10. During these two games, Westbrook-Ikhine has logged just 27% and 22% of the snaps.
Since Week 8, Washington has been making an impact in the box score but has not been very consistent. He is averaging only 9.2 PPR points per game during these five games, but has been able to find the back of the end zone twice.
Seeing him now out-snap Westbrook-Ikhine by a significant margin will leave the door open for a strong finish to the regular season. More importantly, he has some elite matchups in the fantasy playoffs (@PIT Week 15 (third-most PPR points allowed to opposing WRs and vs. TB Week 17 (11th-most PPR points to opposing WRs), which could make him a viable FLEX option in deeper leagues.
Other WRs to Consider Stashing:
- Pat Bryant, DEN
- Kyle Williams, NE
High-Upside Fantasy Football Stashes - Tight Ends
Gunnar Helm, Tennessee Titans
10% rostered
While the Tennessee offense has been tough to trust for fantasy players, their rookie tight end has been able to carve out a surprisingly large target share. Over his last three games, Helm has seen at least five targets in each and has seen seven drawn in each of his last two games.
During this stretch, Helm has averaged a modest 8.8 PPR points per game but has caught 5,3 passes per game. Despite the increased target share, Chig Okonkwo is still typically logging more snaps at the TE position.
However, rookie QB Cam Ward is looking Helm's way more often, despite his somewhat limited playing time. Seeing Helm continue to draw a high amount of targets despite playing in the No. 2 role is a very positive sign. While he is not a must-add for those standard leagues, managers in 14+ team formats who have struggled to fill their TE position should consider holding him on their bench.
If he can surpass Okonkwo's playing time, he could see nearly double-digit targets a game down the stretch.

Other TEs to Consider Stashing:
- Isaiah Likely, BAL
High-Upside Fantasy Football Stashes - Quarterbacks
Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints
10% rostered
Despite playing on a struggling New Orleans team, Tyler Shough has been rather productive under center. Over the last three starts, Shough has eclipsed the 20.0 PPR points mark twice and is averaging 254.7 yards per game. During this stretch, Shough has thrown four passing scores with just two interceptions,
Over his last two, he has also begun to rely on his legs, averaging 6.5 rushing attempts per game and totaling 37 rushing yards.
While his upside will be capped due to his limited playmakers on the offense, managers in deeper formats, needing a reliable QB2, should consider adding Shough. While he has a tougher matchup in Week 15 against the Panthers, he has it much easier down the stretch, facing the Jets and Titans in Weeks 16 and 17.
Other QBs to Consider Stashing:
- Tyrod Taylor, NYJ (2-QB leagues)
