BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED: 1% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Texans got mollywhopped by the NFL on Monday with the league handing six-game suspensions to both CB Bradley Roby and WR Will Fuller V for PED violations. Roby's is an interesting one, sure, but we're here for Fuller and his now-vacated WR2 role. That's correct. The Texans will keep playing Brandin Cooks at the WR1 role, with Keke Coutee slotting as the WR2 and some rookie receiver taking on WR3 duties. Oh, and the Texans have also recently released Kenny Stills and have Randall Cobb sitting on the injury-shelf.
While Coutee is nothing to be too excited about, his forced ascension in the pecking order should raise his upside a bit, making him a closer-to-10-PPR-points player rather than the zero-floor asset he could be considered otherwise. In the last two weeks Coutee has finally played some reasonable snaps (35 and 28 in W11-12) finishing with 9.0 and 5.7 PPR points. Again, nothing to call home about, but still reasonable for a 2-catch, 4-target, 15-yard player. Had it not been for the TD he scored in W11, he would have finished with just 3.0 PPR points.
Although Coutee won't become your league-winning play, he should at least give your team some points playing under stud-QB Deshaun Watson. The Texans face a rather tough schedule ROS excluding their sweet W16 game against Cincinnati (20th-best defense against fantasy WRs). The next three matches are all against top-7 WR-defenses, so temper your expectations if you opt to roster Coutee (which you should only do, realistically, if you're part of a very deep league).
