The Oklahoma defense sustained a crucial loss during the first half of their Week 2 matchup with Big Ten foe Michigan, as linebacker Kip Lewis hopped off the field with a knee injury, per KREF Sports Chris Plank. Lewis was later seen on the Sooners' sideline trying to work through the injury, running up and down the sideline in a knee brace, according to a report from On3's George Stoia III. "He's in a lot of pain," Stoia III posted to X. James Nesta came on to replace Lewis, who played 13 games and led Oklahoma in tackles with 76 a season ago. --Alex Brasky
