NBA DFS: Top Daily Fantasy Expert Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (11/28/25)

Peyton Watson - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire, NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Free daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Thunder Dan's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on November 28th, 2025.

After a day off for the Thanksgiving holiday, the NBA returns tonight with 11 games in the final round of group play for the NBA Emirates Cup. While FanDuel has included all 11 games on one slate, DraftKings decided to split the slate in half with a six-gamer tipping off at 7:30 PM and another five-gamer set to start at 9:30 PM with the West Coast games.

I'll do my best to give you my favorite picks for both slates and some slate-specific advice for your lineups. The only superstar from the early games who is still questionable is Giannis Antetokounmpo, but I am expecting him to return for the Bucks' matchup with the Knicks. For the late games, it's Anthony Davis who is the biggest questionable status to keep an eye on, as he has been ramping up and nearing a return to the Dallas lineup for a while now. I would be surprised if Davis didn't suit up tonight to take on his former Laker teammates.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/28/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:30 p.m. EST on FanDuel and DraftKings. NBA DFS Core Picks

EARLY GAMES

Josh Hart, SF/PF - NYK ($6.8K both sites)

Hart is a nice building block for DFS lineups, especially since he doesn't have to score in order to provide a pretty solid floor for cash games. He's been back in the starting lineup lately and has resumed his glue guy role, pulling down boards and dropping dimes for New York.

In the five games that OG Anunoby has missed since going down with an injury, Hart is averaging 14 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and 2.4 steals/blocks. If he plays 35 minutes tonight, he's likely to hit value with ease, and if his shot is falling (as it was against Charlotte when he went 8-13 from the field), then he provides a pretty nice 40+ point ceiling for less than 7k.

Noah Clowney, PF - BKN ($5.1K DK/$4.9K FD)

The big news for the Nets is that their leading scorer and rebounder, Michael Porter Jr., is out tonight. MPJ has been feasting as the alpha in this offense since Cam Thomas went down a few weeks ag,o and without him tonight, there are going to be a whole lot of shots to go around for Brooklyn against a pretty leaky Philly defense.

Clowney has been the second-leading scorer for the Nets over the last few weeks and was already seeing more minutes and usage of late, playing an average of 38 minutes per game in his last two games with a 26.5% usage rate. He's just way too cheap for a player who could flirt with 20 shot attempts in this one.

LATE GAMES

Keyonte George, PG (also SG on FD) - UTA ($7.9K DK/$7.7K FD)

We simply can't avoid this Utah-Sacto game on the night slate as it has a massive 239.5 total and only a 1.5-point spread. Both teams have been horrible defensively, and neither one is good enough to pull away and blow out the other.

George has been the most consistent player on the Jazz all season, and that's even including Lauri Markkanen, who has had some huge scoring nights. George really looks like he's settled in as the lead guard for Utah, and even the return of Isaiah Collier has not changed his role, as I thought that it might.

His ability to rack up points and dish out assists has led to 40 or more DK points in four of his last five. Yet he's still priced under 8k and in the best game environment on the slate. I'm locking him in as my favorite piece to build around for the late games.

Keegan Murray, SF/PF - SAC  ($6.7K DK/$6.2K FD)

The Kings have been bad; there's no way of sugarcoating it. Keegan Murray has been very good since returning from an injury that forced him to miss most of the first month of the season. With Zach LaVine struggling badly on offense, Murray has picked up the slack, scoring 19 or more points in three straight games, while also helping out on the boards with an average of nine per game over that stretch.

With Domantas Sabonis out, look for Murray to continue to play big minutes and keep getting up a ton of shots. His role right in Sacto is much larger than it's ever been before, and he's still underpriced for that role and this solid matchup.

NBA DFS GPP Pivots

EARLY GAMES

Alexandre Sarr, C (also PF on FD) - WAS ($7.3K DK/$8.2K FD)

I love attacking Indiana with bigs, and Sarr has been flashing a pretty nice ceiling of late. The second-year big man is coming off a 50 DK point outing against the Hawks and has 40+ DK points now in four of his last six games. He's priced right in the mid-tier, where he's likely to go overlooked. If Kyshawn George (currently questionable) sits out again, that would only improve his chances of more shots on offense and more potential rebounds, too.

Coby White, SG (also PG on FD) - CHI ($7.6K DK/$7.2K FD)

White feels sneaky here as he's also right in the mid-7K range in pricing, which I usually refer to as "the dead zone" in NBA DFS. So often we tend to cram value plays in so we can roster a 10K+ stud in our lineups, but I am not sure that you need Cade Cunningham or Giannis in your lineups to win tonight.

White is currently questionable, but I expect him to suit up since he's coming off a game where he was just rested and not injured. He also played his most minutes to date this season (35) in his last game, so if the minutes cap is off, then I love his upside here against a Charlotte team that is not very good defensively.

LATE GAMES

Peyton Watson, PF (also SF on FD) - DEN ($5.5K DK/$5.1K FD)

The Watson breakout has been to watch, and if you haven't had a chance to see him play yet, tune into tonight's game if you can or go search up his highlights. He's a high-motor player who can rack up hustle stats (boards, steals, blocks) and is now emerging as a scoring threat in Denver, too, thanks to an abundance of playing time.

Watson has been firing up shots on offense, attempting 19 and 22 shots in two of his last four starts. That added offensive potential is what gives him an elite ceiling at this price tag. If he comes out and is passive offensively, he can still hit value for us with his baseline production in boards and defensive stats, but if he gets hot on offense, he could break this night slate wide open, as we've seen him go for 55 and 43 DK points in two of his last four starts.

NBA DFS Value Picks

EARLY GAMES

Jared McCain, PG/SG - PHI ($4.2K DK, $4.0K FD)

The Sixers will be very short-handed again tonight with no Joel Embiid, VJ Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Paul George, who is still listed as questionable. McCain has provided some instant offense off the bench in his last two games, scoring 15 points in each while playing 24 minutes.

That's been good for over 20 FD points and 5x his price. Expect a similar allotment of minutes for McCain tonight and for him to continue to lead the second unit in production.

T.J. McConnell, PG - IND ($4.0K DK, $4.6K FD)

Andrew Nembhard is questionable for the Pacers tonight. If he were to be out, then McConnell could start and flirt with 90% rostership on this slate. So let's hope Nembhard does play, and we can play T.J. at only around 35% (he'll still be very chalky) against the Wizards.

McConnell has finally seen his minutes come up into the 20s now that he's fully healthy, and he's doing his usual thing with those minutes, getting buckets and dropping dimes. This matchup is an excellent one as the Wizards are one of the worst defensive teams in the league. McConnell has gone over 30 DK points in two straight games, so he's still badly underpriced for his increasing role and this absolute smash spot.

LATE GAMES

Julian Champagnie, SG/SF - SAS ($4.8K DK/$4.7K FD)

Champagnie has now stacked up three straight good games for the Spurs and is an underrated part of their rotation. He's an elite rebounder from the wing position, snaring 12 and 11 boards in his last two games, and he's now topped 30 minutes in his last three starts.

The Spurs got Dylan Harper back on Monday, but are still missing two key starters with Stephon Castle and Victor Wembanyama out tonight. Look for Champ to continue to play significant minutes on the wing and find a way to hit 5x value one way or another, as he can pile up boards, steals, and blocks even without doing much on offense.

  • Wizards at Pacers (240.5 O/U, 6.5-point spread)
  • Kings at Jazz (239.5 O/U, 1.5-point spread)
