QB Austin Simmons Dazzles In Missouri Debut
Former Mississippi quarterback Austin Simmons was excellent in his Missouri debut Thursday night. Simmons completed 17 of his 19 passes for 252 yards and four touchdowns. Two of those touchdowns went to Donovan Olugbode. Simmons was named the starter for Mississippi last year, but was hurt in Week 2. Trinidad Chambliss was excellent filling in for Simmons and took his job. Simmons threw four interceptions in two games for Ole Miss last year, but was very sharp in Missouri's 54-14 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Simmons has a couple more easier games in September and is worth a look in fantasy leagues if you don't trust your quarterback matchups.
