Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups - Luther Burden III, Elic Ayomanor, Tre Tucker Fantasy Football Outlooks

Luther Burden III - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Rookies

Week 4 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Luther Burden III, Elic Ayomanor, Tre Tucker in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.

Throughout the opening weeks of the season, fantasy managers have seen many young wide receivers emerge as must-start fantasy options. In Tampa Bay, rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka is producing as a WR1, and the Carolina Panthers' top rookie, Tetairoa McMillan, has just begun to find his stride.

In this piece, we will look at three young WRs who have begun to find their footing and just enjoyed big performances in Week 3.

So, should you pick up Luther Burden III, Ayomanor, or Tucker in your fantasy football leagues for Week 4 of 2025? Let's dive in.

Luther Burden III Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 10% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in 12+ team, 3WR leagues

The Chicago Bears bolstered their WR room by selecting Burden out of Missouri in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. However, during the first two games of the regular season, the rookie had a limited role as Rome Odunze, DJ Moore, and Olamide Zaccheaus dominated the WR snaps.

However, in Week 3, Burden was finally given an opportunity. In Weeks 1 and 2, Burden saw only three targets and caught two of them for a mere two yards. In Week 3, Burden saw three targets and brought in all three for 101 yards and a touchdown. Much of his production came on a 65-yard TD reception.

In this contest, the rookie also took a carry for seven yards.

While this breakout game may not guarantee he jumps into the No. 3 spot on the depth chart, it will open the door for him to see a much larger role in their offense. The team's No. 3 WR, Zaccheaus, has seen his target share decrease in each game so far. In Week 1, he saw seven targets, but his total dropped to a season-low four in their victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.

Burden may not be a must-start player this weekend, but he is a name to monitor closely. However, managers in deeper formats that require 3-WR should look to stay Burden before this continuation ot the rise. Another strong showing in Week 4 could push him into must-roster territory. He is a top stash candidate heading into Week 4.

Elic Ayomanor Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 25% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in 10+ Team Leagues

Another rookie who has seen his fantasy stock climb in the opening weeks is Elic Ayomanor. Ayomanor was selected in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft but was able to immediately contend for targets in a Tennessee WR room that lacked many options outside of the veteran Calvin Ridley.

However, Ridley has been far from impressive early on, which has allowed Ayomanor to make a strong claim to become Cam Ward's go-to option.

Through three games, Ayomanor has seen Atlanta's five targets in each game, with a high of seven in his season debut in Week 1. Overall, Ayomanor has caught 10 of his 18 targets for 107 yards and two touchdowns. Ayomanor has found the back of the end zone in each of his past two games and caught at least four passes in these games.

More importantly, Ayomanor is nearly matching Ridley in terms of target share. Ridley has seen 21 total targets (26.8% of the team's targets) while Ayomanor falls just behind, posting 23.2% of the team's targets. Ayomanor has been slightly more impressive on the box score, as Ridley has yet to find the back of the end zone.

Given his role as the team's clear No. 2 WR, fantasy managers should view him as a top WR to target on the waiver wire. He is nearing FLEX territory, given his role, and could even reach high-end WR3 status if Ward continues to develop.

Tre Tucker Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 5% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add In 10+ Team Leagues

The final wide receiver we will look at in this piece is Tre Tucker. Tucker had a limited role in the Vegas offense during his first two seasons with the Riaders but appears to be taking a step forward.

After seeing only three targets in Week 1, Tucker has become a go-to option for Geno Smith. In Week 2, Tucker drew eight targets but was only able to bring in three of them for 12 yards. This high target share was a telling sign for his Week 3 performance.

Facing the Washington Commanders, Tucker enjoyed a breakout showing, catching eight of his nine targets for 145 yards and three touchdowns. While fantasy managers shouldn't expect another 100+ yard showing, seeing him see eight targets in back-to-back games is an excellent sign for his outlook.

More importantly, Tucker has locked down the No. 2 WR spot. Through three games, Tucker has logged 92% of the team's snaps, which his right in line with Jakobi Meyers, who has seen 93%. In addition, the team's No. 3 WR, Dont'e Thornton Jr., has seen only 67% of the snaps.

While he will compete for targets with Meyers and star tight end Brock Bowers, Tucker is worth adding in all 10+ team formats that require three wide receivers in the starting lineup.
