Andy Dalton is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for quarterbacks. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Maybe Bryce Young really was the issue in Carolina because the Panthers inserted veteran Andy Dalton at quarterback this week, and the team looked completely different.
In Sunday's win over the Raiders, Dalton was 26-for-37 for 319 yards and three touchdowns. Carolina scored just 13 points entering the week but put up 36 in the victory.

The Panthers have already committed to keeping Dalton as their starter. It's still too early to know if he'll repeat this kind of strong performance again, but he has a solid supporting cast around him and should at least be added in all 2QB leagues.
It might be too early to insert Dalton into your lineup as anything other than an injury replacement, but there's definitely value to having him on your roster based on how he looked in his first game as Carolina's starter.
