ANALYSIS: New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is one of the worst passers in the NFL. However, the veteran has played well over the past two weeks. He had two passing touchdowns and 18.3 fantasy points in Week 2 against an awful Washington Commanders secondary. Many called it a fluke, saying Jones would struggle in Week 3 against a talented Cleveland Browns defense.
However, the former No. 6 overall NFL Draft pick had his best game this season. Jones completed 70.6% of his pass attempts for 236 yards, two touchdowns, and 19.4 fantasy points, tossing both touchdowns to Malik Nabers.

While some will call his Week 3 performance a lucky break, fantasy players can start the veteran quarterback in deeper leagues this week. Jones faces the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night. While the Cowboys had an elite defense in 2023, they have severely struggled to slow down quarterbacks over this season, especially the past two weeks.
