ANALYSIS: After a fantastic Week 2, Patriots tight end Hunter Henry returned to fantasy irrelevance, matching his Week 1 total during Week 3 with just two receptions on three targets. The entire Patriots offense failed to get anything going against the New York Jets, and this could be a consistent theme moving forward.

The Patriots have a terrible offense, and QB Jacoby Brissett isn't going to lead it to relevance any time soon. Henry is a decent tight end, but without a positive game script and lots of targets, which we've seen are no guarantee, he's not fantasy startable.
Things could get better for Henry. Brissett's play has been poor enough to warrant an eventual transfer of starting duties to rookie QB Drake Maye. That being said, this is no guarantee of future relevance for Hunter, as Maye may opt to spread the ball around. However, he's more talented than backup TE Austin Hooper.
Henry is a bench stash in most leagues, but given the overall lack of depth at the tight end position, he's not the worst start. The Patriots face the 49ers next week, though, so it would be tough to justify starting him in that game. He should remain on benches for now.
