Jordan Love start 'em, sit 'em fantasy football lineup picks for Wild Card Weekend. Should you start or sit Jordan Love in playoffs fantasy football lineups (2023)?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end QB1
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love had an outstanding first year as the starter. He was the QB5 during the regular season, averaging 18.8 fantasy points per game. The former Utah State star had a rough patch but ended the year on fire.
Love averaged 2.2 passing touchdowns per game over the final nine weeks this season, totaling two or more in all but one contest. He was unbelievable during the fantasy football playoffs, averaging 2.3 passing touchdowns and 23.3 fantasy points per game. The young quarterback played like a seasoned veteran. Love finished second in the NFL in red zone passing touchdowns (25).
While many expected the Packers to miss the playoffs, the first-year starting quarterback got them into the postseason. Unfortunately, Green Bay’s first-round matchup is against the Dallas Cowboys on the road. The Cowboys held quarterbacks to 16.1 fantasy points per game during the regular season, the eighth-fewest in the NFL.
Despite the less-than-ideal matchup, fantasy players should consider Love a solid starting option. He played well against talented defenses during the regular season and has the weapons to put up a solid fantasy performance.
