Tuesday Night Football DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings

Thunder Dan's top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings for Week 13 Tuesday Night Football - Ravens vs. Cowboys. His daily fantasy football advice and value plays.

Tuesday Night Football, really? Just when you thought we'd seen it all in 2020, we have yet another first. In the last two weeks, we've seen Wednesday afternoon football, Monday afternoon football, and now we have the final game of Week 13 on a Tuesday night as the Cowboys take on the Ravens in Dallas.

Both of these teams are coming off losses and trending down lately. But both still have playoff aspirations so this game is huge, with the loser likely moving out of playoff contention. The Ravens are eight point favorites as they get a good chunk of their team back this week off the COVID list and this game has a 44.5 point Vegas total.

I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Tuesday Night Football slate on December 8th (Week 13). These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

DFS Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson (16,500 FD, 11,600 DK, 17,400 DK Captain)

Jackson will return for this game after missing last week's game against Pittsburgh. Dallas has a below-average defense (21st in pass DVOA, 29th in run DVOA), and Jackson has arguably the most upside of any player in this game as he's a threat to throw for a few TDs and run one in one the ground. He is the most expensive player on the slate, but is easily the best athlete in this game and is going to be asked to make plays for this Ravens offense.

DFS Running Backs

J.K. Dobbins (12,000 FD, 8,600 DK, 12,900 DK Captain)

The Baltimore timeshare in the backfield could well be in full effect once again now that Dobbins and Ingram have been activated for this game. They'll join Gus Edwards to form a formidable trio that makes up this potent Ravens rushing attack. I'm rolling with Dobbins here since he's been the most productive of the three on a per-touch basis, but I won't be surprised if the Ravens mess around and give the other backs a bunch of work, too. It's just hard to avoid the Ravens' backs entirely with how much they love to run and how vulnerable Dallas is on the ground this season.

Ezekiel Elliott ($15,000 FD, $10,200 DK)

Zeke has been so hard to trust this season with the fumbling issues and with Dallas having so many negative game scripts, however, this isn't as bad of a spot as it looks like on paper. The Ravens front seven has been banged up lately and they have been handled recently by good offensive lines against New England and Tennessee. Zeke is still the lead back for Dallas even with Tony Pollard pushing for more work and if they keep this game close, he will have red zone opportunities and some catches out of the backfield.

DFS Wide Receivers

Amari Cooper (13,500 FD, 9,600 DK)

The Red Rifle Andy Dalton loves throwing to Cooper. He's averaged six catches and eight targets per game that Dalton has started. Now he does draw a tough matchup with one of the better cover corners in the league this year (Jimmy Smith), but he's still the type of player who can win these tough matchups. If you're looking to save some salary and still grab a Dallas pass catcher then my second favorite guy is Michael Gallup, who has the best matchup of the three Dallas wideouts against Marcus Peters (who is still pretty good, however).

Marquise Brown (10,500 FD, 7,200 DK)

Hollywood Brown finally got himself a TD last week with Trace McSorley finding him late in the game for a big play. He's had a rough year, but has a great matchup against this Cowboys Defense and should be more of a focal point for the Ravens' passing game this week with Mark Andrews and Willie Snead both still out. The Cowboys give up the fourth-most points to wide receivers and I expect Jackson to look to get Brown involved as much as possible in this one.

Dez Bryant is an interesting (and cheaper) option here, too, against his old team (though I don't do revenge narratives in DFS). He should have some opportunities in a plus matchup, too, and could be a sneaky pivot off the chalkier Brown.

DFS Tight Ends

Dalton Schultz ($8,000 FD, $5,200 DK)

The Ravens tight end situation is bleak and I'm not all that interested in firing up Luke Wilson (the football player, not the movie star). Schultz, however, is a guy I am interested in rostering. He snagged five passes last week and four the week before and has averaged nearly six targets with Dalton under center. The Ravens are tough on the outside, but somewhat soft in the middle of the field and gave up a bunch of catches and yardage to Eric Ebron last week. I expect Dalton to check down to his safety net Schultz quite often and try to find him on some high percentage throws to keep moving the chains.

DFS Defense/Special Teams

Greg Zuerlein ($8,500 FD, $4,000 DK)

Justin Tucker ($9,000 FD, $4,000 DK)

Ravens D/ST (5,800 DK)

We have two of the best kickers in the game here and there's a case to be made for rostering either of them - or both! The Ravens are more likely to finish their drives in my opinion, meaning more extra points for Tucker and fewer FG chances, which makes me like Zuerlein a tad more. Both are viable, though, in this game and we've seen kickers win people tournaments when games remain low scoring.

The Ravens Defense interests me more here as they are likely to blitz Andy Dalton a lot in this one. They rely on their linebackers blitzing to create pressure and Dalton is not very mobile which could mean some sacks for this front seven. Lamar Jackson has turned it over more this season, but I simply don't trust Dallas's defense to get enough stops or slow down the Ravens to use them in anything outside of large field tourneys.

That's all I got today, RotoBallers! Good luck in your contests and don't be afraid to shake things up as these single-game slates are full of variance!
