On Saturday afternoon, the NASCAR Cup Series held the qualifying session to set the starting lineup for this weekend's YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
This is the final superspeedway race of the season, one last wildcard event where anyone can win and shake up the Playoffs. Starting position doesn't mean anything at a track like Talladega, but we need an order to start with.
The qualifying session consisted of two rounds, as is the typical procedure for races at Talladega.
