Fantasy Football Rookie Wide Receiver Rankings (2026): Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson, Makai Lemon, Denzel Boston, Omar Cooper, Skyler Bell

Denzel Boston - Fantasy Football Rookie Rankings, NFL Draft Prospect, CFB

2026 dynasty fantasy football rookie wide receiver rankings. RotoBaller's top rookies and dynasty draft targets, including Makai Lemon, Jordyn Tyson, Carnell Tate, and more.

Rookie draft season will be here before you know it, and it's time to start taking an early look at the wide receiver spot. This year's rookie class is strong at wide receiver, but it leaves a lot to be desired at QB, RB, and TE. That said, this position will be key in shaping dynasty and redraft teams for years to come. Let's get started with our 2026 NFL rookie wide receiver rankings, which will show the top 25 pass-catchers, including Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tayson, Makai Lemon, Denzel Boston, Omar Cooper Jr., and Skyler Bell.

We will update these rookie rankings all offseason long, and there will be major shake-ups based on all of the NFL prospect offseason activities, including the Senior Bowl, NFL Combine, and NFL Draft. It's worth noting that not all of these collegiate players have declared for the NFL Draft yet, and players will be removed and added as those announcements come out. It's never too early to start your research and homework on rising NFL players, so let's get to it! These initial 2026 rookie rankings are put together by Jackson Sparks and Phil Clark.

In addition to these rookie rankings, in our 2026 fantasy football rankings dashboard, you will also find our team's Dynasty League rankings. Bookmark that page, and use it to prepare for all of your 2026 fantasy football dynasty league drafts.

Fantasy Football NFL Rookie Wide Receiver News and Outlooks

Denzel Boston, WR, Washington

Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston is one of the top prospects at the position in the 2026 NFL Draft class, and at this point in the offseason, he's a projected first-round pick. The 22-year-old was buried behind Rome OdunzeJalen McMillan, and Ja'Lynn Polk during his first two collegiate seasons. However, he's been the Huskies' top wideout in each of the last two seasons. In 25 games since the start of the 2024 campaign, he's hauled in 125 receptions for 1,715 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Listed at 6'4", Boston has excellent body control and quickness, traits coveted by the NFL among big-bodied wide receivers. Assuming Boston performs well in the pre-draft process, it would be no surprise to hear his name called on Day 1 of April's draft. His landing spot will determine his rookie upside, but either way, he should be a valuable dynasty rookie draft asset in Round 1.

Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson declared for the 2026 NFL Draft in December, and the two-time All-Big-12 performer is projected to be a top 15 pick in April. Tyson is among the shortlist of wide receivers in contention to be the first player at the position off the board. Naturally, this will make him a top pick in upcoming dynasty fantasy football rookie drafts.

Tyson enjoyed a breakout year in 2024, snagging 75 passes for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was limited to nine games in 2025, but he still produced 61 receptions for 711 yards and eight scores. The 21-year-old is an excellent route runner for his size (6'2", 200), and he has strong body control and leaping ability for contested catches. WR-needy teams with young quarterbacks like the Titans and Saints are potential landing spots for the top-end wide receiver prospect.

Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State

Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate is projected as a first-round pick if he declares for the 2026 NFL Draft, joining former teammates Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka in the long line of Buckeye receivers to hear their names called on Day 1 in recent years. Tate hasn't been as productive as some of the recent Ohio State first-round pass-catchers, but he's been sharing the field with mega-star Jeremiah Smith. As a junior in 2025, Tate set career highs in receiving yards (875), yards per reception (17.2), and receiving touchdowns (nine).

The former five-star recruit has been on the NFL radar since the moment he stepped on campus in Columbus, and the 6'3" pass-catcher could be a quarterback's best friend as soon as he steps on an NFL field. While his resume doesn't stack up with some of the Ohio State greats that are dominating the league right now, he's been in a pro-ready system and will likely earn Round 1 draft capital, making him an exciting NFL prospect for dynasty fantasy football managers.

Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia

Georgia wide receiver Zachariah Branch has officially declared for the 2026 NFL Draft. Branch began his career at USC before spending his third and final collegiate season in Athens. Overall, the dynamic playmaker tallied 159 receptions for 1,634 yards and nine receiving touchdowns in 37 career games. He also rushed 15 times for 94 yards and a touchdown and tallied over 1,300 yards and two touchdowns as a kick and punt returner.

Branch didn't have the most productive career as a pure receiver, but he has elite speed and athleticism that NFL decision-makers should get excited about. His fantasy football ceiling could be limited if he's relegated to a gadget role in an offense, but in the right setting, he could produce boom weeks right away in his 2026 rookie campaign.

Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama

Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard is NFL-bound following two productive seasons in the SEC with the Crimson Tide. The 22-year-old began his career at Michigan State before transferring to Washington in 2023. Despite sharing a field with Rome OdunzeJalen McMillan, and Ja'Lynn Polk, Bernard caught 34 passes for 419 yards and two touchdowns as a sophomore. He followed head coach Kalen DeBoer to Alabama ahead of the 2024 season, and he led the Tide in receptions in his junior and senior seasons with two different starting quarterbacks.

Overall, Bernard snagged 114 receptions for 1,656 yards and nine touchdowns in 27 games over the last two years. He's slated to be a second-round pick in April's 2026 NFL Draft, which will likely be where he goes off the board in dynasty fantasy football rookie drafts.

Chris Brazzell II, WR, Tennessee

Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell II officially declared for the 2026 NFL Draft following his redshirt junior season with the Vols. The former Tulane transfer caught 62 passes for 1,017 yards and nine scores in 12 games, despite competing for targets with two other 800-yard receivers. Brazzell was a contested-catch monster in 2025, but he's also shown the ability to blow by coverage for homerun balls. Listed at 6'5", Brazzell projects to be a boundary receiver at the next level with the potential to develop into a quarterback's top target with a wide catch radius.

Brazzell is likely going to come off the NFL Draft board as a second-round pick, but his performance at the 2026 NFL Combine and other predraft activities could be a strong factor in whether he has a chance to move into the first round. In 40 career games with Tulane and Tennessee, Brazzell finished his collegiate career with 136 receptions for 2,072 yards and 16 touchdowns.

KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion was dynamic and productive in his lone season in College Station, catching 61 passes for 919 yards and nine touchdowns. He added 75 rushing yards, 456 kick return yards, one rushing score, and two return touchdowns. Concepcion has flashed as an explosive playmaker since his freshman season at NC State, when he tallied 1,159 scrimmage yards and 10 total touchdowns. The 21-year-old's production and athletic profile checks all the boxes of a potential difference-maker at the NFL level.

Hopefully, he lands with an innovative offense coach who can put him in the best situations to succeed. Concepcion currently projects to be a late-first-round pick, which puts him firmly in the first-round discussion in dynasty rookie drafts.
