ANALYSIS: Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold has been one of the biggest surprises over the first three weeks of the NFL season. The veteran has averaged 219 passing yards, 2.7 touchdowns, and 19.3 fantasy points per game, one of the highest averages in the league.
Last week, the former USC star had 181 passing yards, four touchdowns, and 23.2 fantasy points against a talented Houston Texans defense. However, Darnold suffered a knee injury that forced him to miss a play. Thankfully, the injury sounds minor, and the veteran quarterback should be ready for the Week 4 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers have forced six turnovers over the past two weeks. However, all six came from inexperienced quarterbacks, as Anthony Richardson and Will Levis each had three giveaways against Green Bay.
Darnold has been playing great and should keep it up against the Packers, assuming he doesn’t turn the ball over. Fantasy players can add the veteran off the waiver wire and use him as a streaming option in Week 4.
