ANALYSIS: Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold was one of the biggest surprises over the first two weeks this season. The former No. 3 overall NFL Draft pick is the QB10, averaging 17.3 fantasy points per game. He has completed 72% of his pass attempts for 476 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Furthermore, the veteran showed some athleticism, totaling eight rushing attempts for 35 yards over the first two weeks. Darnold is coming off one of the top performances of his career, totaling 268 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 19.9 fantasy points in an upset win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy players should have confidence in Darnold moving forward. He played well against a talented San Francisco defense. Furthermore, his receiving core should improve once Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson are healthy. While the veteran has some touch matchups over the next few weeks, Darnold showed he can succeed against talented defenses on Sunday.
