Fantasy Football Bold Predictions - John Laghezza's Week 11 Picks

Trey McBride - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers, Tight End

John Laghezza's fantasy football bold predictions for Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season. Expert predictions for every single game on Sunday's day-time slate.

Of course we know as fantasy gamers fortune favors the bold. With that, variety's also the spice of life — so I figured I'd switch things up a little for our little freaky Friday suare. Hope you like it.

Welcome back to another edition of my RotoBaller bold predictions for the NFL's upcoming Week 11. Except this time, rather than focus on a small handful of players which may not even prove useful, I deliver a fearless prognostication for every single game on Sunday's day-time slate. Let's go!

Will be hard to top last week's runout — three of our four featured players (Jared Goff, TreVeyon Henderson, Dalton Schultz) all finished inside the top five at their position with tremendous fantasy games. Only Kenneth Walker III let us down, and frankly, I'm out on all things Seattle RB-related until further notice. Good luck!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Washington Commanders vs. Miami Dolphins

Injuries to Washington's front-seven rendered this Commanders defense nearly as ineffective as the dreadful Bengals lately. Miami scored +30 points in two of their last three and that train keeps rolling Sunday. Jaylen Waddle and Tua Tagovailoa finish top five at their respective positions — even Malik Washington sneaks into the top 20 WR for the first time. Everyone feasts against the Commies!

Carolina Panthers vs. Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta's getting sliced up on the ground recently, desperate to bounce-back from Jonathan Taylor's monster 308 scrimmage yard effort last week. Ouch. Expect even more 4-DB alignments from the Falcons than usual, which does succeed in capping RB Rico Dowdle. However, the excess man coverage up front earns rookie WR Tetairoa McMillan a target lock and his first career top-10 finish for Carolina. It's about time.

Buffalo Bills vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

My big, bold prediction for a game with the high total everyone's so excited for between Josh Allen and Bake Mayfield is... it's going to be immensely boring. Womp womp. Both Tampa and Buffalo currently resemble a mere shell of their 2024 selves, struggling on offense while simultaneously playing their best D of the season. Lots of running and long drives lead to field goals and keep anyone from moving the fantasy needle in Northern New York. Yawn.

Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans

Tennessee's played so poorly top-down, predicting even an offensive pulse at this point feels like a bold call. Let's do it. Cam Ward's improving however slowly, but finally returns WR Calvin Ridley — who's somehow still the Titans' second-leading receiver despite missing nearly 40% of the season. Sigh. Give me the post-bye-rookie-bump and Cam Ward's shocking first top-12 QB finish. Finally!

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears

J.J. McCarthy's future success hinges on Minnesota finally getting their offensive line woes corrected, helped by recently reintroducing stalwart Christian Darrisaw back in the fold. My model's projecting this game north of 50, with MIN playing from behind and throwing it all the way. Chicago's one of only three teams to surrender +6.2 yards/play on the season, partly due to allowing the most +20-yard completions (36).

While it hasn't materialized as battery production with McCarthy just yet, Jordan Addison's leading the team in air yards with him under center — a 20-point fantasy game's on deck for the former first-rounder. Giddy up!

New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers

New York's revolving door at offense keeps spinning with Jameis Winston marking the third quarterback to take snaps for Big Blue this season. Just when Darius Slayton managers couldn't be any more excited for the deep shot opportunities, New York just declared him out Sunday (hamstring). Say what you will about the Packer's rough losses, Green Bay's still top three in yards allowed per play and explosive play differential. It's a solid defense, certain to blanket and bracket Wan'Dale Robinson into oblivion, leaving TE Theo Johnson to finish right behind Trey McBride as Week 11's TE2.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Queue up the carnival music for the highest total of the weekend (49) — which you could still argue's entirely too low given the recent defensive performances on both sides. Only four teams allowed +400 yards offense per game over the last month... and half of them are playing in this game. Jaylen Warren's in an obvious smash spot to finish as the overall RB1 with Jonathan Taylor on bye. Not bold enough...

I've been ranting and raving lately about Calvin Austin III assuming an every-down role — he's finally earned Aaron Rodgers's trust and goes off for +20 fantasy points in a shootout.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Hat tip to the Chargers for stringing together three straight wins in the face of O-line injury clusters. Jacksonville boasts a winning record for now, but their own injuries left them at just 5.0 yards gained per play and the NFL's sixth-worst yards per play differential. Yikes. Good chance the Bolts beat the Jags down with a one-two punch from RB Kimani Vidal and TE Oronde Gadsden, who both finish top-five at their position.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks

Can my bold prediction be that I'm so excited to watch this actual football game — heck, I may skip Red Zone altogether and cope with the commercials. Kidding aside, Sean McVay's newfound love for 13-personnel's torpedoed Puka Nacua's utilization. For two weeks straight (both wins, averaging 38 points by the way), Nacua's run fewer routes than Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen, and Colby Parkinson. A touchdown saved him last week that doesn't get converted Sunday, and Puka finishes as a WR3 for the first time all season.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals

The stars aligned for Arizona's Trey McBride to feature in one the most targeted team attacks we've seen all year. For starters, the 49ers' defense is missing half its Week 1 starters, and not nearly the threat we're used to in years past. Plus, new Cardinal QB Jacoby Brissett is already targeting his star TE more than twice any other pass-catcher — and that was before Marvin Harrison Jr. announced needing appendix surgery, costing him the game. It's a tall task but I'm feeling it — Trey McBride sets the season's positional reception record, hauling in an insane +14 balls Sunday!

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

How is this game's total even as high as 39? The reborn Ravens' defense ranks second in scoring over the last month (13.7 PPG) while the Browns' rookie QB Dillon Gabriel's sporting the NFL's lowest YPA (5.0). Not to mention, as good as Cleveland's defense looks on paper, they're significantly better at home — currently leading that split in yards allowed per play (4.1). Even if you like the Ravens' offense, there's a good chance Lamar Jackson's playing close to the line of scrimmage with vertical/outside threat Rashod Bateman likely out (ankle).

Zay Flower's about to take advantage of CLE's man-heavy approach as Jackson's favorite one-on-one target underneath, racking up lovely PPR goodness all game. You have to go all the way back to Week 1 since it happened last, but Mr. Flowers drops 25 fantasy points Sunday.

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Pretty remarkable the Broncos are making a case for their best defense all season after losing superstar CB Patrick Surtain. Must admit, I had my doubts but DEN's allowed just 605 passing yards and a single TD in three games, including a prolific Dallas offense. Kansas City's absolutely playing better of late but with RB Isiah Pacheco out again, the lack of a running threat allows coverage creativity, featuring lots of press-physicality at the line — for the first time together this season, Patrick Mahomes and Rashee Rice completely fall flat in a divisional dogfight with fewer than ten fantasy points each.
