Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ty Jerome (calf) won't play on Thursday against the Dallas Mavericks. The 28-year-old has been scratched regularly in recent weeks and will sit out Thursday after being initially considered doubtful for the game. The Grizzlies are once again shorthanded for Thursday's matchup, and Javon Small is the only healthy point guard remaining. He figures to have a heavy workload against Dallas. Small has averaged 10.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.4 steals in 25.0 minutes per game this month.--Taavi Pailk
