Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson will undergo core-muscle surgery this week that is expected to keep him out for around six weeks, sources tell Adam Schefter of ESPN. Hendrickson initially was injured in the Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers and then aggravated his injury two weeks later against the New York Jets. The 31-year-old All-Pro has been out ever since and will now miss the remainder of the 2025 regular season. His injury was not improving despite rest and rehab. Hendrickson was a massive disappointment for fantasy managers who selected him in IDP leagues. The four-time Pro Bowler will finish with only four sacks, 16 tackles (11 solo), and a forced fumble in seven games this year after back-to-back 17.5-sack seasons for the Bengals in 2023 and 2024. Cincy will be hoping Hendrickson can return to his pre-injury form in 2026.--Keith Hernandez
