Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson saw his largest workload of the season in his team's Week 8 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, recording 87 scrimmage yards on 14 touches. Wilson has been efficient when he's had the ball in his hands this year, averaging 5.1 yards per touch on 43 touches across seven games played. The Packers have a workhorse running back ahead of Wilson on the depth chart in Josh Jacobs. However, Jacobs has been playing through a calf injury and has failed to crack 16 touches in either of his last two games after recording at least 20 touches in each of his first five. Wilson is still the clear RB2 in Green Bay as long as Jacobs is active, but there could be an opportunity for more consistent backfield snaps while the team manages Jacobs' workload.--Will Brady

Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave has played on only 29.9% of offensive snaps so far through seven games this season, catching six of his seven targets for 54 yards and no touchdowns. Musgrave hasn't seen more than two targets in a game this season, as fellow third-year tight end Tucker Kraft has established himself as one of the best tight ends in the league. Kraft has been banged up some during his career, and if he were to miss any time this season, Musgrave would likely step into the starting tight end spot and run a full number of routes. The 25-year-old had plenty of positive moments in his rookie year as a downfield threat, which aligns with quarterback Jordan Love's style of play. But Musgrave also dealt with injury issues and has struggled to stay on the field at times. He's best left on the waiver wire for now.--Kyle McCarthy

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Savion Williams has primarily been limited to a special teams and gadget role through the early portion of his first NFL season. Across seven games, Williams has more rush attempts (seven) than receptions (five). The 23-year-old has not been particularly efficient as either a rusher or receiver, recording 59 yards and a touchdown on his 12 touches. The Packers have one of the deepest wide receiver corps in the NFL, which may make it difficult for Williams to be a consistent contributor this year. Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and Matthew Golden are all definitely ahead of Williams on the depth chart, as are Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) when healthy. Williams should remain off the radar of fantasy managers in redraft leagues.--Will Brady

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has been thriving over the last few weeks, culminating in a 33.3-point fantasy effort against the Pittsburgh Steelers that saw him finish as the TE1 in Week 8. Kraft brought in 7-of-9 targets for 143 yards and two touchdowns, and led the NFL in yards after the catch (128) amongst all pass-catchers. There's no doubt that Kraft has untapped upside entering this season, and it's coming out this season as the Packers' most explosive and efficient pass-catcher. With six touchdowns in seven games, Kraft should actually be featured MORE in the Packers' game plan as he's second to Romeo Doubs in team target share at just 19.1 percent. While Kraft has been a volatile tight end option for fantasy managers over the first few weeks of the season, Kraft is now in must-start territory when the Packers host the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.--Kevin Tompkins

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love put up a sparkling performance in Week 8, where he completed 29-of-37 passes for 360 yards and three touchdown passes. Love was on fire, as he had 20 consecutive completions against a sinking Pittsburgh Steelers' pass defense. With Love's Week 8 game, that performance moved him up to QB11 through eight weeks of this season, but is Love more than a QB streamer? The opportunity is certainly lacking in most weeks as Love has the second-fewest pass attempts per game (30.4) among the top-12 fantasy quarterbacks, only behind Josh Allen. Love isn't a running quarterback with just 109 rushing yards on the season, so his only avenue for fantasy scoring is passing efficiency downfield. In Week 9 against Carolina, a team that just gave up 245 rushing yards to the Buffalo Bills, the Packers may opt to attack through the run rather than the pass. Love is a high-upside streaming option rather than a locked-in fantasy starter for this matchup.--Kevin Tompkins

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson returned to the Packers' lineup in Week 8 following an ACL injury that ended his 2024 season in Week 18. Watson was an immediate focal point of the offense in his 2025 debut, bringing in all four of his targets for 85 yards. The big question: can Watson be a fantasy-relevant player this season? While it was great to see Watson back and receive immediate involvement in the passing game, he's still behind Tucker Kraft, Romeo Doubs, and Josh Jacobs in the pecking order on offense. Watson's game has always been as a vertical receiver, and for fantasy, those types of players are boom-or-bust in nature. That makes it hard to start him in most weeks, even with bye weeks in full swing. For the Packers' Week 9 matchup against the Panthers, consider Watson a low-end flex play.--Kevin Tompkins

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden has disappointed many fantasy managers this season, as he's felt like he was on the cusp of breaking out but hasn't. In Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Golden had one of his least productive fantasy outings this season, with three receptions for just four yards. Golden, the 2025 first-round pick, has just two games of five or more targets and has been a top 24 fantasy wide receiver just once through seven games. His involvement in the Packers' offense took another hit when Christian Watson played his first game of the season and immediately caught 4-of-4 targets for 85 yards. While the thought is that better days are certainly on the horizon for Golden, he can't be a starting option right now for fantasy managers in Week 9 against the Panthers until we see the Packers show true intent to involve Golden more in the offensive game plan.--Kevin Tompkins

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson was able to break out with a solid performance on the ground during Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wilson saw a season-high 11 carries for 61 yards on the ground. He also hauled in three of his four targets for 26 additional yards through the air. Lead back Josh Jacobs struggled on the ground, which gave Wilson additional carries. The 26-year-old made the most of his chances, but is unlikely going to take away a ton of carries from Jacobs. Wilson shouldn't be viewed as anything more than a desperation play for Week 9.--Andy Webb

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) made his 2025 debut in the Week 8 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football and didn't disappoint. Watson finished second on the team with 85 receiving yards while catching all four of his targets from quarterback Jordan Love. The 26-year-old pass-catcher finally made it back after tearing his ACL in the Week 18 regular-season finale last year, and he immediately contributed on offense as a deep threat for Love in the Packers' passing attack. He finished behind only tight end Tucker Kraft, who went off for 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns on seven catches. Watson's big-play abilities were on display in this one, and fantasy managers in need of WR help should certainly take notice. Especially with Jayden Reed (collarbone) still on Injured Reserve, Watson should continue to have a big role in the passing attack, continuing with a Week 9 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 29 of his 37 pass attempts for 360 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 8 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Green Bay got out to a bit of a slow start on primetime television, but the Packers ultimately outscored the Steelers 28-9 in the second half to pull off a two-possession victory. Love showcased a great rapport with tight end Tucker Kraft, as the two connected for seven completions, 143 yards, and a pair of touchdowns. The 26-year-old now ranks 13th among quarterbacks in fantasy points per game. He is a top-12 fantasy option heading into a favorable Week 9 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.--Andersen Pickard

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft caught seven of his nine targets for 143 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's Week 8 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. His two scores came from 16 and 24 yards out, respectively, but perhaps his best play of the game was a 59-yard reception in the third quarter. The 24-year-old was a main reason why the Packers were able to erase a 16-7 deficit and come back to win 35-25. After a highly successful showing on National Tight Ends' Day, Kraft now ranks as the overall TE2 in PPR leagues through eight weeks -- and he ranks first in terms of fantasy points per game. He should be started in all leagues ahead of next week's matchup against the Carolina Panthers.--Andersen Pickard

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had been listed as questionable after practicing in a limited capacity. Watson is making his NFL debut after spending the first seven weeks on injured reserve. The 26-year-old continues to be plagued by injuries as he gets ready to kick off his fourth season. The Packers have played 57 games since drafting Watson, but he's only been active for two-thirds of them (38 games). Now healthy for the first time since tearing his ACL in Week 18 of the 2024 campaign, Watson will look to contribute right away. He should eventually carve out a prominent role alongside Romeo Doubs and Matthew Golden, but he may play on a snap count in his first game back. He's worth stashing in fantasy football, but it's too early to plug him into your starting lineups.--Andersen Pickard

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden (hip) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had been listed as questionable after logging a limited practice on Friday. The rookie has ranked as the overall WR59 in PPR leagues this season with 18 catches for 249 yards, and he's still looking for his first career touchdown. Golden should deliver another top-60 finish on Sunday night, but it's worth noting that he does face added competition this week with Romeo Doubs still healthy and Christian Watson (knee) on track to make his season debut.--Andersen Pickard

Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus (quadricep) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had been listed as questionable after logging a limited practice session. The 34-year-old returns following a two-game absence. He went 7-for-9 on field goals and 11-for-12 on extra points when healthy, maintaining low-end streaming appeal in fantasy football. His return to action is bittersweet for the Packers and fantasy managers alike. Green Bay is surely pleased to get its primary kicker back, but it also spells the end of a magical two-week stretch for Lucas Havrisik, who went from searching for substitute teaching jobs to going 4-for-4 on field goals and 6-for-6 on extra points while filling in for McManus. Havrisik is a healthy scratch Sunday night.--Andersen Pickard

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden (hip) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers despite being listed as questionable. Golden was a full participant earlier this week before being added to the injury report as a limited participant Friday. Despite his late addition, the rookie receiver is expected to suit up. He should operate as the Packers' No. 2 receiver behind Romeo Doubs, but he could face some competition from Christian Watson (knee), who is set to make his season debut on Sunday. Golden ranks outside the top 36 fantasy receivers this week, which means he can be benched in most formats.--Andersen Pickard
