The Miami Dolphins are the most obvious connection to Green Bay Packers impending free-agent quarterback Malik Willis after they hired head coach Jeff Hafley and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan from the Packers. But The Athletic's Jeff Howe says not to overlook the New York Jets, whose $89 million in salary cap space is the third-most in the NFL, with $50 million more than any other team that would be in the free-agent QB market. Willis has the most upside of any free agent, but it remains to be seen if the Jets want to spend at the position after swinging and missing last year on Justin Fields. Demand could push Willis' projected market to two years and around $60 million. The Vikings and Falcons probably won't offer the most money, but they "could present better situations" that could lead Willis to a bigger contract down the road. Although Willis would be the guaranteed starter if he signs with the Jets, it won't exactly be an environment that will give him a ton of intrigue as a QB2 in superflex leagues.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) is working his way back to full health after tearing his ACL during the 2025 NFL season. His road to recovery doesn't just concern the Packers, but dynasty fantasy football managers, too. Kraft was the overall TE1 in half-PPR leagues from Weeks 1 to 8, when he was healthy. Injuries can sometimes derail players' fantasy values, so his dynasty managers will hope that's not the case here. By all accounts, the 25-year-old is ahead of schedule and will be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season. That's encouraging for his fantasy outlook, and even if he doesn't immediately return to TE1 form, we expect him to be a top option. There have also been rumors of contract talks between Kraft and the Packers, which would ensure year-over-year consistency that offers plenty of value in dynasty formats. Dynasty managers should look to buy low on Kraft coming off his injury, as he should be a top-five fantasy tight end for many years to come.--Andersen Pickard

Rival teams expect the Buffalo Bills to "strongly address wide receiver in the coming weeks," according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Multiple league executives are linking Green Bay Packers wideout Romeo Doubs and Seattle Seahawks receiver/return man Rashid Shaheed to the Bills. The Indianapolis Colts' Alec Pierce will likely be out of Buffalo's price range, and he's also not expected to reach the open market. Shaheed is also being linked to the Las Vegas Raiders, with new head coach Klint Kubiak looking to bring him over after coaching him in Seattle in 2025. Doubs could be a good fit with the San Francisco 49ers. Doubs will probably be the more consistent fantasy option in 2026, and a move to Buffalo would make him very intriguing after he put up a 55-724-6 line in 16 regular-season games last season. He'd be the favorite for WR2 duties for the Bills behind Khalil Shakir.--Keith Hernandez

The Green Bay Packers are not placing a tender on impending free-agent running back Emanuel Wilson, a source told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Wilson will hit the free-agent market this offseason after carrying the ball a career-high 125 times for 496 yards (4.0 yards per carry) and three touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. He added a career-best 15 catches on 17 targets for 99 yards and no touchdowns through the air in his third year in the NFL. It remains to be seen if the Packers have any interest in bringing Wilson back as the backup to starter Josh Jacobs. The 26-year-old filled in nicely as a plug-and-play RB2 in fantasy lineups last year in the two games that Jacobs missed due to injury, but outside of that, he was merely a handcuff for Jacobs. Wilson will likely operate as a backup somewhere else if he leaves in free agency. In his three seasons in Green Bay, he's averaged a healthy 4.5 yards per carry for 1,083 yards and seven rushing touchdowns on 242 carries.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed had his 2025 season thrown off track by injury, as collarbone and foot ailments limited him to just seven games played. Across those contests, the 25-year-old hauled in 19 catches for 207 yards and one touchdown on 22 targets. Before 2025, Reed flashed upside in his first two NFL seasons, recording over 1,900 scrimmage yards and 17 total touchdowns. However, he's struggled to carve out a high-volume role in the Packers offense, which typically spreads the ball around to multiple pass-catchers. Across 40 career games with Green Bay, Reed is averaging 4.8 targets per contest. Packers wideout Romeo Doubs is set to hit free agency, and start tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) is currently recovering from a torn ACL, so Reed's path to playing time could be clearer in 2026. He will still have to contend with Green Bay wideouts Christian Watson and Matthew Golden for targets, but a fully healthy offseason could put Reed in position for a breakout year. In dynasty formats, Reed could be a solid buy-low candidate coming off his injury-marred 2025 campaign.--Will Brady

Across 14 games in 2025, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks recorded 30 receptions for 332 yards and two touchdowns on 46 targets. It was a disappointing year overall for the 24-year-old, as he posted the lowest receiving yards per game (23.7) and receptions per game (2.1) marks of his three NFL seasons. While Wicks has flashed upside at different points in his career, he's struggled to carve out a consistent role in Green Bay's equal-opportunity passing game. However, the Packers' pass-catching depth chart could get thinner in 2026. Wide receiver Romeo Doubs is set to hit free agency, and tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) could miss the start of the season as he recovers from a torn ACL. Still, Wicks would be competing with Packers wideouts Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Matthew Golden for playing time. Based on his inability to differentiate himself in 2025, Wicks' fantasy value in dynasty formats is trending in the wrong direction.--Will Brady

Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave is heading into the fourth year of his rookie contract and failed to take advantage of starting opportunities in 2025 after fellow tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) went down for the season in Week 9. From Week 10 on, Musgrave saw just a 47% snap share and averaged only 2.3 targets per game. The 25-year-old tight end out of Oregon State finished the regular season with 24 catches for 252 yards and no touchdowns, and added one reception for nine yards in the Wild Card game against the Chicago Bears. Fantasy managers need to look back to Musgrave's rookie year in 2023, when he tallied four top-12 tight end performances over his 11 games played, to justify holding him in dynasty leagues going into the 2026 season.--Matt McCauley

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said at the NFL scouting combine on Tuesday that running back Josh Jacobs will "absolutely" be back in 2026, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. "He's a very important cog in what we're trying to do here," Gutekunst said. Jacobs was in the second year of a four-year, $48 million contract in 2025 that he signed in March of 2024. The 28-year-old three-time Pro Bowler took a slight step back in Green Bay in his second season, but he was still very productive, gaining 929 yards on the ground and 13 touchdowns on 234 rushing attempts while adding 36 catches for 282 yards and one touchdown through the air in 15 regular-season starts. Unfortunately, the former first-rounder's production tanked near the end of the season at the most inopportune time for fantasy managers, as he played through his knee injury. Jacobs has a lot of tread on his tires, but he's racked up four 1,000-yard seasons in seven years and has double-digit rushing touchdowns four different times, including in each of the last two seasons.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers impending free-agent quarterback Malik Willis and Alabama QB Ty Simpson are among the "external quarterbacks" on the Cleveland Browns' radar with the NFL scouting combine kicking off this week, according to Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Meanwhile, the Browns are still trying to decide if they think one of Shedeur Sanders or Deshaun Watson (Achilles) can be their starter in 2026. Watson has more experience in the NFL, but he didn't play at all last year due to a torn Achilles he suffered in 2024, and he's rarely been available for Cleveland since signing a massive five-year, $230 million contract with the team in March of 2022. Sanders, a fifth-rounder, predictably in his first eight games (seven starts) last year, completing 56.6% of his passes for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. The Browns bringing in Willis or Simpson would signal their lack of faith in both Watson and Sanders going into the 2026 season.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers impending free-agent running back Emanuel Wilson once again served in a backup role to starter Josh Jacobs in 2025, finishing his third year in the NFL with 496 rushing yards and three touchdowns on a career-high 125 rushing attempts through 17 regular-season contests. The 26-year-old added a career-high 15 receptions on 17 targets for 99 yards through the air. Wilson will be a restricted free agent in March, and if he returns to Green Bay, he'll likely be the top backup option again, depending on the health of MarShawn Lloyd. In his first start of the year in Week 12 against the Minnesota Vikings with Jacobs sidelined, Wilson ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries, rewarding fantasy managers who used him as a plug-and-play RB2. If he returns to the Packers in 2026, Wilson will probably need an injury to Jacobs to become a weekly fantasy option at RB.--Keith Hernandez

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden had a disappointing first year in the NFL in 2025 after he was taken with the 23rd overall pick out of Texas. The 22-year-old caught 29 passes for 361 yards and no touchdowns in 14 regular-season games on just 44 targets. It was surprising that he had so few targets, especially with tight end Tucker Kraft tearing his ACL in Week 9. The Athletic's Matt Schneidman expects Golden "to be a much bigger part of the game plan next season" in his sophomore season. It would be premature to expect Golden to be above Christian Watson or Jayden Reed in the pecking order, but Schneidman "wouldn't hesitate to use him over Dontayvion Wicks." Romeo Doubs is expected to depart in free agency, opening up a big role in the passing attack for Golden. Fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues shouldn't sell low on him, and he could end up being a nice value pick in redraft fantasy leagues this fall.--Keith Hernandez

The Athletic's Matt Schneidman writes that Green Bay Packers impending free-agent wide receiver Romeo Doubs "is as good as gone in free agency." Doubs is coming off a strong fourth year in the NFL and is fully expected to sign a multi-year extension with a new team this offseason after catching 55 of his 85 targets for a career-high 724 yards and six touchdowns in 16 regular-season games. The 25-year-old former fourth-rounder in 2022 out of Nevada probably won't become a No. 1 wideout with a change of scenery, but he's an underrated player and should be easily considered a top-five free agent at his position going into next season. Doubs has 202 receptions for 2,424 yards and 21 touchdowns in his four NFL seasons, and with the right offense, he could become a priority target as a No. 2 or 3 wideout in fantasy in 2026.--Keith Hernandez

The Miami Dolphins have already been rumored to be a destination for Green Bay Packers impending free-agent quarterback Malik Willis, and ESPN's Matt Bowen believes they are a perfect fit for Willis in free agency. The Dolphins have a new general manager in Jon-Eric Sullivan and a new head coach in Jeff Hafley, who both came from Green Bay, so the connection is obvious. Miami is also looking to trade QB Tua Tagovailoa. Bowen envisions a scheme "built around motion/movement, with play-action elements woven in" by new offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik. Willis only made three starts for the Packers in his two seasons with the team, but he proved to be an adequate backup as both a passer and runner, completing 78.7% of his passes for 976 yards, six touchdowns, and no interceptions while also running for three TDs in 11 total games played. The 26-year-old third-rounder will generate plenty of interest from QB-needy teams this offseason, and he could be a nice QB2 option for fantasy managers in superflex leagues in 2026 if he wins a starting job somewhere.--Keith Hernandez

The Green Bay Packers named former Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Luke Getsy as their new quarterbacks coach on Wednesday, sources told Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Getsy also has previous experience as an offensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears. He returned to Green Bay in 2025 as a senior assistant and will now take over for Sean Mannion, who left for the OC job with the Philadelphia Eagles. Before leaving to become an OC, Getsy was the team's QBs coach under head coach Matt LaFleur from 2019 to 2021. The 41-year-old didn't have much success in Chicago or Las Vegas, so the move isn't particularly great for the development of QB Jordan Love as he heads into his sixth season in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez

If they can find someone to take their current quarterbacks in a trade, the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins are two teams to watch in the pursuit of Green Bay Packers impending free-agent QB Malik Willis, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. New Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley came from Green Bay and have an obvious connection with Willis, while new Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur can get intimate knowledge of Willis' game from his brother, Matt, who is the head coach of the Packers. Fowler also lists the Cleveland Browns as a sleeper for Willis, but the hiring of head coach Todd Monken could change that, since he seems open to working with the QBs currently on the roster, including Shedeur Sanders. The 26-year-old Willis, a former third-rounder, completed 78.7% of his passes for 976 yards, six touchdowns, and no interceptions in 11 games (three starts) the last two years in Green Bay and is fully expected to join a new team in free agency this offseason.--Keith Hernandez
