Anthony Seigler Getting Promoted to Majors
Anthony Seigler is getting called up to the major leagues, reports Francys Romero. The youngster has played all around the infield this season in Triple-A, making appearances at catcher, second base, and third base. He signed a minor league deal with the Brewers this offseason with low expectations, after not panning out for the Yankees since being drafted 23rd overall in the 2018 draft. However, he has been dominant in the minors this year, slashing .278/.416/.469 with seven home runs, 35 RBI, 43 runs, and 20 stolen bases in 62 games. He'll likely serve as a utility man for the big league club, but his versatility will leave him with many opportunities to hit his way into the lineup. The 26-year-old isn't a must-add in most fantasy leagues, but he is an intriguing option for deep roto leagues.
