DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/14/22): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Karl-Anthony Towns - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on March 14, 2022. Juan Carlos Blanco provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Following a busy Sunday, the Association takes it up a notch Monday night with nine games on the docket. While there are only three games between teams with winning records, those carry plenty of star power and promise, while some of the other matchups have the potential to still feature some prolific individual performances due to the questionable defenses taking the floor.

The injury report does have some notable names, but several are players with longer-term absences that we've already adjusted to doing without for some time. With 18 teams in action, there is still an ample player pool to work with, and a number of selections that sport surprisingly reasonable salaries when factoring in recent production.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/14/22. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG/SG, OKC vs. CHA ($10,400 DK; $10,000 FD)

Gilgeous-Alexander scored 48.3 DK/49 FD points in his one prior game against the Hornets this season, and Charlotte continues to be one of the most defensively vulnerable teams in either conference. The Hornets sport a No. 24 defensive rating on the road (113.9), and they're allowing 51.5 DK/48.9 FD points to point guards over the last seven games. For his part, SGA has averaged 43.8 DK points per home game, but he checks in with some spike performances recently that include four tallies of greater than 60 fantasy points on either site in the last seven games. Finally, Charlotte's Eastern Conference-high 104.9 possessions per road game should certainly help give SGA some extra opportunities to work with, furthering his already strong case.

Terry Rozier - PG/SG, CHA at OKC ($8,100 DK; $8,100 FD)

Rozier makes for a strong play on the other side of the Hornets-Thunder tilt, considering OKC has allowed the ninth-highest offensive efficiency to two-guards (22.4 percent) and the third-most fantasy points on either site to the position for the season. The Thunder is also yielding NBA-high 45.1 percent three-point shooting over the last three games, while Rozier comes in a torrid streak that's seen him drain 41.8 percent of his three-point attempts over the last 12 games. The veteran wing has eclipsed 40 fantasy points on eight occasions, including 60 in two instances, during that span, making him a proverbial bargain at his current salaries, particularly for tournaments.

Gary Trent Jr. - SG, TOR at LAL ($6,500 DK; $6,000 FD)

Another two-guard who's demonstrated an ability to outpace his current salaries on plenty of occasions this season is Trent, who's eclipsed 40 fantasy points in four of the last 14 games and provided at least 30 in 29 games on DK and 31 games on FD overall. Trent has been a more productive player on the road as well while shooting 40.6 percent from behind the arc in that split, and the hapless Lakers come in on the second night of a back-to-back set Monday following a 140-111 thrashing at the hands of the Suns on Sunday night. L.A. has surrendered the 11th-highest offensive efficiency to shooting guards (22.0 percent), along with the fifth-most DK (45.0) and third-most FD (44.3) points per game to the position in the last seven games.

ALSO CONSIDER: Trae Young, PG, ATL vs. POR ($10,300 DK; $9,800 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

DeMar DeRozan - SF/PF, CHI at SAC ($9,800 DK, $9,600 FD)

DeRozan has boasted one of the safest floors at any position all season, and he comes off even more appealing than usual Monday with a very favorable matchup and the possibility that Zach LaVine sits out another game due to his knee issue. DeRozan sports a massive 38.8 percent usage rate and averages 48.4 DK/47.5 FD points per 36 minutes without LaVine and Lonzo Ball (knee) on the floor, and he racked up 55 DK/53.2 FD points against the Kings in his one prior encounter with them this season. Sacramento has been one of the league's most giving teams defensively all season as well and have allowed the sixth-highest three-point shooting percentage at home (36.0). In turn, DeRozan has been at his best from distance when traveling, shooting 37.1 percent from behind the arc in that split.

Josh Hart - SF/PF, POR at ATL ($8,800 DK; $6,500 FD)

Hart is shouldering a massive workload at the moment in light of the Trail Blazers' numerous key injuries, and he comes at an especially eye-opening salary on FD. The versatile wing just racked up a career-high 44 points against the Wizards on Saturday night, a performance that netted over 70 fantasy points on either site. Hart is now logging a 29.5 percent usage rate and averaging 49.1 DK/48.0 FD points per 36 minutes with Damian Lillard (abdominal), Anfernee Simons (quadriceps) and Jusuf Nurkic (foot) off the floor this season, and the Hawks come in allowing the fourth-most DK (45.1) and fifth-most FD (43.6) points per game to small forwards in the last 15.

P.J. Washington - PF, CHA at OKC ($5,100 DK; $5,700 FD)

Washington's production does see its fair share of ebb and flow, making him more of a tournament play. However, the circumstances would appear right for one of his more fruitful performances Monday, considering the Thunder are giving up the most DK (55.5) and FD (53.5) points per game to power forwards in the last 15 games, along with the fourth-highest offensive efficiency to the position on the season (28.1 percent). Washington already totaled 34.5 DK/33.2 FD points in his one prior game versus OKC this season, and he's been a particularly effective three-point shooter on the road (37.6 percent).

Also consider: Evan Mobley, PF, CLE vs. LAC ($7,700 DK, $8,800 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Karl-Anthony Towns - MIN at SAS ($10,200 DK; $9,500 FD)

Towns touched up the Spurs for more than 50 fantasy points in his first game against the Spurs this season, and he enters Monday's matchup having eclipsed 50 in three of his last five games as well. The Timberwolves-Spurs clash sports a projected total north of 240 points as well, and San Antonio has allowed the fifth-highest offensive efficiency to centers (33.8 percent), along with over 56 fantasy points per game on either site to the position. The Spurs also rank in the bottom 10 of the league in opponent rebounds allowed per game (54.8), and Towns has hit the double-double bonus on DK on 33 occasions already this season.

Pascal Siakam -  TOR at LAL ($9,100 DK; $8,400 FD)

Siakam is another member of the Raptors that should be well-equipped to capitalize on the listless Lakers, and he comes in on an extended tear that's seen him eclipse 40 fantasy points in 15 of the last 24 games. Siakam has over 50 in back-to-back games as well, and Los Angeles has been a sieve to centers of late. Even without factoring in the 23-point, 16-rebound double-double the Lakers allowed to the Suns' Deandre Ayton on Sunday night, L.A. was already giving up 63.9 DK/64 FD points per game to centers in the prior seven games.

Also consider: Nikola Jokic, DEN at PHI ($12,400 DK; $11,400 FD); Trendon Watford, POR at ATL ($6,700 DK; $5,900 FD)
