NHL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings: Goalies, Value Plays, Stacks, and Power Plays Picks (11/11/25)

Nathan MacKinnon NHL DFS lineup picks daily fantasy hockey

Get today's top DraftKings daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for November 11, 2025. Doug's expert NHL DFS goalies picks, value plays, stacks, and power play picks.

Happy Veteran's Day to all who have served. Thank you so much for your service to our country. The NHL has itself one incredible slate of hockey tonight, featuring some of the best offenses and most promising young stars the league has to offer. Out west, the Colorado Avalanche and Anaheim Ducks could break double-digit goals with how well their offenses are playing. Teenage sensation Macklin Celebrini and the Sharks head to Minnesota as he looks to continue his hot start to the season.

Toronto and Boston open the slate with a matchup of superstars David Pastrnak and Auston Matthews. This slate has it all, and it should be one of the best we've seen this season.

I aim to help you narrow your plays to get the most bang for your DFS buck. NHL Premium members can find members of the RotoBaller NHL family on Discord, where our chat is always active. NHL DFS Analysis And Picks For 11/11/25

Boston Bruins (BOS1 - David Pastrnak, Morgan Geekie, Marat Khusnutdinov; $17,400 DK)

Defensive Addition: Charlie McAvoy ($5,200 DK)

The most significant decision you’re going to have to make tonight is whether you want to run a stars and scrubs lineup (more on that in a minute) or a balanced lineup. If the latter appeals to you, then the Boston Bruins are your top stack of the night. They have one of the two best matchups on the slate, facing the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have allowed an astronomical 4.37 even-strength goals per 60 minutes on the road.

Goalie Anthony Stolarz has allowed at least three goals in 75% of his starts, including two of three on the road. Their defensive pairing of Brandon Carlo and Morgan Rielly has allowed 3.93 goals, 40.99 scoring chances, and 15.94 high-danger chances per 60 minutes on the road. They’ll spend a lot of time on the ice with Boston’s top line of David Pastrnak, Morgan Geekie, and Marat Khusnutdinov.

Geekie has been one of the biggest surprises of the season, scoring 11 goals in his first 17 games. His aggressive play has aided him, as he’s taken three or more shots on goal in seven of his past nine games. For some reason, his price has stabilized at $5,300, a number far below the value he’s returning.

Pastrnak only has eight goals this year, but he’s subsidized his offense with assists, racking up 11 on the season on the way to averaging a healthy 13.9 DraftKings points per game. Khusnutdinov is the weak link on the line, but he’s held his own with eight or more DraftKings points in three of his past five games. At just $3,300, he’s more than been worth a spot in your tournament lineups.

Colorado Avalanche (COL1 -Artturi Lehkonen, Nathan MacKinnon, Martin Necas; $21,900 DK)

Defensive Addition: Cale Makar ($8,300 DK)

While you’ll be able to stack a strong second line with Boston, you’re going to have to do a bit of dumpster diving if you want to use the entire top line for the Colorado Avalanche. If you include defender Cale Makar, and you have to include Makar, it’s going to cost you over $30,000 to roster these four players.

Even with a cheap goalie like Alex Nedeljkovic, that leaves you with just over $3,100 per player to fill out your roster. Anaheim or San Jose’s third lines would fit the bill, but doing so will require Colorado to carry more than its weight to make it worthwhile. But oh boy, could it be worth it against the Ducks.

Every game that Anaheim plays feels like a fantasy bonanza. The team leads the NHL in goals per game with 4.13 (Colorado is second with four goals per game), but it also allows 3.07 goals per game. Goalie Lukas Dostal has allowed at least two goals in every road game, and a total of 11 over his last three.

The defensive pairing of Drew Helleson and Jackson LaCombe has combined to allow 3.51 expected goals, 33.71 scoring chances, and 14.16 high-danger chances on the road; Dostal has saved just 74% of the high-danger shots he has faced away from home.

The Avalanche average a league-high 15.3 high-danger chances per 60 minutes at home. This is what makes the Avs, even at their exorbitant prices, one of the most appealing tournament options on the slate.

San Jose Sharks (SJ1 - Macklin Celebrini, Tyler Toffoli, Will Smith; $17,200 DK)

Defensive Addition: John Klingberg ($3,400 DK)

I really like the Minnesota Wild’s second line at home against San Jose, but the data says that the visiting Sharks have the better matchup. Goalie Filip Gustavsson has given up 3.67 goals per game at home this year, and the defense has allowed 12.91 high-danger chances per 60 minutes.

Gustavsson struggles in that department, saving just 77% of the high-danger shots he’s faced. The defensive pairing of Brock Faber and Zeev Buium, who will square off against Macklin Celebrini and San Jose’s top line, has allowed 3.86 expected goals and 14.04 high-danger chances per 60 minutes at home.

With Celebrini on the top line, there is no limit to how high the Sharks can go. He’s combined for 24 goals and assists in 16 games, averaging 16.8 DraftKings points. He’s recorded at least one goal or assist in 10 of his last 11 games, taking three or more shots on goal in nine of them.

Celebrini has surpassed 20 DraftKings points in six of those 11 games, and his 53.3 fantasy point game in late October speaks to how high his ceiling is. Tyler Toffoli and Will Smith don’t have the ceiling of Celebrini, but they’re excellent fantasy assets who have combined to average 18.7 DraftKings points per game at home.

NHL DFS Value Stack of the Night

Ottawa Senators (OTT2 - Fabian Zetterlund, Dylan Cozens, Ridly Greig; $11,100 DK)

The Senators are one of the only inexpensive lines that stood out on the Heat Map, facing off against a Dallas defense that has struggled on the road. More specifically, their defensive pairing of Ilya Lyubushkin and Thomas Harley has consistently let the team down when it is not playing at home.

The duo has allowed 3.2 expected goals and 15.47 high-danger chances per 60 minutes on the road. Goalie Jake Oettinger has provided no support, allowing 3.14 goals and saving just 88% of the shots he’s faced on the road.

Ridly Greig and Dylan Cozens are playing some of their best hockey of the season right now, accumulating one goal and four assists over their past two games.

This could be the start of a turnaround for Cozens, who went five games without either a goal or an assist before the two helpers he had on Sunday. Earlier in the season, we saw the kind of upside Cozens has when he scored double-digit fantasy points in six of the first nine games of the season.

NHL DFS Goalie to Target

Thatcher Demko (VAN - $7,400 DK)

Thatcher Demko started the year with seven straight games where he didn’t allow more than three goals, scoring at least 12.6 DraftKings points in each of those games.

He cooled off after that, allowing four goals in back-to-back games, but both of those games were on the road against decent offenses in Nashville and Minnesota. Tonight’s game is at home, where he’s allowed just five goals in three games.

He’s also facing a Winnipeg offense that has been bad on the road, scoring just 2.26 even-strength goals per 60 minutes. The Jets have accrued just 8.46 high-danger chances per 60 minutes in those games. Their expected goals were actually half a goal lower than what they produced, meaning that there’s room for them to be even worse.

At just $7,400, and allowing over 30 shots on goal per game, Demko is in a great spot to provide a strong return on value in both cash games and tournaments.

Others in consideration: Elvis Merzlikins (CBJ), Logan Thompson (WSH), Linus Ullmark (OTT)
