Adam Thielen is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 34% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 12, and while he's 34 years old and coming off a hamstring injury, he's worth a speculative pickup off waivers in deeper PPR leagues simply because of potential upside due to target volume.
#Panthers second-round rookie RB Jonathan Brooks is expected to make his NFL debut on Sunday vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, per HC Dave Canales.

He could return to a de-facto WR1 role of sorts, given that he's by far the most experienced wideout on the roster, and played with starting quarterback Bryce Young for most of 2023. But there will be some competition available for receiving work moving forward with rookie pass-catchers Xaiver Legette and Jalen Coker.
Both have seen non-insignificant target volume over the past few weeks, and it's hard to see Thielen immediately stepping in from an injury that carries high risk of re-aggravation and getting a ton of work. However, he's still clearly got something left in the tank, which could carry some value down the stretch.

The running back position is one of major scarcity in fantasy football.
