BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED: 9% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: I was way higher on Adam Humphries last season than I was entering 2020. All he went on to do last year, though, was log 374 yards on 37 receptions with 2 TDs over 12 games. That was bad. This season, though, he's already at 21-200-2 in just four games and he'd be on pace to finish with a 78-750-8 line if Tennesse/Humphries don't miss any more games for some reason.
Don't make a false image of Humphries in your mind, though. He's Tennessee's WR3 at most behind A.J. Brown, Corey Davis, and TE Jonnu Smith, and that is not changing any time soon... unless Smith misses ample time due to injury. Humphries has been one of the most reliable receivers out there, though, catching 21 of the 26 targets he's been thrown and racking up more than 41 yards every single game.
For a FLEX play available in most leagues, Humphries floor isn't lower than around 8.0 PPR points and although his ceiling isn't overly high, he's already showed it: just this past Sunday Humphries had his best game of the year catching 6-of-6 targets for an average of 10.7 Y/R and a total 64 yards, including scoring a TD.
Of WRs with at least 150 snaps played in 2020, Humphries is generating the 9th-most PPR points per snap at 0.34. His usage has been low, but he's been one of the most productive players so far around the league. The Steelers rank just 27th in preventing points from WRs, so you know what to do. If only for a week Humphries will be a WR2 with upside to getting into the WR1 realm, and he's a good weekly FLEX play in any deeper league.
