DFS Captain Plays

mantuu/valde: Both of these options are great here, I'm putting both of them as they are really the top plays on the slate and I couldn't just pick one. If you can get them both in your lineup, I highly recommend it as these guys should feast on Renegades. Plus, the last two days the teams that have played against Renegades have been featured in the top lineups each day. I would not be surprised to see that trend continue. Getting 2-3 players from OG may be difficult but might be worth it in the end. Both of these guys have about a 1.14 K/D and are averaging around .72 kills per round and .62 deaths per round. Valde has gone positive in 7 of his last 9 games and mantuu has gone positive in 6 of his last 9 games. Mantuu is a lot more explosive though and most of the time he was going positive he had double-digit positive games. mantuu gets the edge for me here as he is slightly cheaper and has a little bit more upside but valde is still a fantastic play.

cadian: Probably one of the top plays from Heroic as he has played really well so far with this new core. So far he has gone +7, +12, +20, and +15 with this new core and we are still getting him at a fair price of 8,200. He brings a lot of upside coming into this matchup and at a discount from the other players above him. He has continued to show he is a top player on the team and I expect that to continue especially into this game. Plus I like the high chance of a sweep here. In the last month, he has a 1.27 K/D is averaging .77 kills per round and only .61 deaths per round. He is one of the best AWP users in the league right now and has gone positive in 8 of his last 10 games. Expect a great performance once again out of cadian with the perfect matchup ahead for Heroic.

Other captain plays: valde, blameF, Xantares(GPP), Stavn

DFS Value Plays

Aleksib: I honestly can't say that Aleksib is a great player but the matchup is good enough to warrant that. He has about a .99 K/D and is averaging .65 kills per round and .66 deaths per round. Like I said, not very good but neither is Renegades and that's why I want Aleksib currently. I used to go for ISSAA more often as he had been playing really well at the time but recently he has been playing horribly so if I'm going to pay for someone who isn't great at least let me get the discount right? Recently against BiG, Aleksib went +12 on the day and that's extremely good for him. If we can get something remotely close to that with a sweep bonus, I'd be all for that.

k0nfig: whoops, they dropped his price again. k0nfig is now down to a whopping 6,400. Wanna know how he did today? 48 kills and a +9 on the day with a sweep. It doesn't sound like a lot but that's 69 points for a value player. I'd say that was pretty good. I'm still not sure as to why they are pricing him down continuously but in the last month, he has 1.13 K/D and is averaging .74 kills per round and .65 deaths per round. In his last three games, he has +9, +5, and +26 all with sweeps. This matchup is a lot closer on paper than I think it really is. BiG has now blown it against OG and Heroic. Complexity is one of the best teams in this group and you don't want to get behind against Complexity because they will make you pay for it.

Other Value Plays: jks, RUSH, tizian, suNny(PUNT), ISSAA, refrezh, TeSeS

Top Stacks / Team Picks

OG: This is the first slate I feel comfortable using OG and feel like they should win in this one. They have looked good in the games against BiG and even made things competitive against Complexity as well. This is a matchup that is pretty much a gimme at this point. Renegades are by far the worst in this group and it's not even close especially after a sweep by FPX. OG improved their team by dropping the deadweight in NBK and grabbing Niko from Heroic.  And so far Niko has done well in his first game dropping a +20 on the day against BiG. He struggled today against Complexity but still managed to work his way back to -5 on the day.

Valde and mantuu are the clear top options from OG today. I like Aleksib as a cheap option as he has the potential to go off in games and with a matchup like this, he should do well. ISSAA is the only one I'm unsure about though as he is played extremely poorly so far in this tournament going -19 and -5 so far in both games. He has a good matchup but with aleksib being cheaper I would rather go him.

Heroic: Heroic is coming off their 4th straight win and all are with this core so far. They have only dropped one map so far and that was a rough one against OG today. They get a nice matchup against FPX who is probably the only team better than Renegades in this group. Heroic is looking pretty dominant so far and I think they come in and make quick work out of FPX. I do expect this one to be a sweep. Cadian and stavn would be my top choices but TeSeS looked pretty good as well today. Refrezh really showed out in the first map and then faded in the final two but still finished positive and I like his price once again. Sjuush on the other hand is the complete opposite and I don't like his price at all, fade for me.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Complexity, BiG(GPP)

Predictions

Heroic beats FPX 2-0

OG beats Renegades 2-0

Complexity beats BiG 2-1
