DFS Captain Plays

cadian: This is a cheaper option at captain. Not sure why he dropped in price like a rock. Guess it's because Heroic is underdogs here, but after the way, BiG played today against OG. I'm not so sure that should be the case. In today's game, cadian went +12 on the day with 41 kills in the sweep. He, stavn, and TeSeS all played insanely well and all got price reductions. I would say Heroic is the 2nd best team in this group and I think we are getting great value at their prices today, they will probably be very popular. Since they started their new core. Cadian has gone +15, +20, and +12 in all three games so far and Heroic has yet to drop even a map yet so far. I don't expect that to stop against BiG. Heroic is the move here and its very to easy to get a nice stack from them. Cadian, TeSeS, and stavn are all viable options at captain in this matchup.

blameF: You guys are going to get sick of me talking about BlameF and honestly it's warranted but this man is a unit. And until he plays poorly I will continue to tout this guy. Is he the most expensive player on the slate? Yes, he is. Do I still want him at the captain spot? YEP! He was the 6th best player in 2020 and I would not be surprised to see him Top 5 by the end of this year. He is currently rocking a 1.53 K/D and is averaging .84 kills per round and a minuscule .55 deaths per round. Last game against OG he went +23 on the day with 37 kills and a quick sweep. Nothin has really changed for OG since they last played either so, I do expect the same outcome here.

Other captain plays: ZehN, k0nfig, stavn, INS(GPP), Syrson

DFS Value Plays

Refrezh: BiG is actually favored in this matchup and I'm not sure why, to be honest. BiG just severely struggled with an OG team that hasn't looked great in recent games and ended up getting reverse swept. I think the wrong team is favored here. That being said refrezh should be looked at. Especially since he is 4,400. That is dirt cheap for a team that has a lot of upside. I also think refrezh is starting to get more into the groove with his new team. He looked horrid the first two games they played but played a lot better and ended up going +2 on the day. I will take a 36 kill game from him with a positive K/D especially at something so cheap. I expect him to be highly owned being so cheap but with heroic not being favorites here that might lower his ownership a bit. If heroic is able to pull it out then refrezh could be excellent value.

JKS: jks has been off and on since joining Complexity back in October. He has looked fairly good in the last two matches though and I like the potential he has in a sweep here against OG. Just last time they played against each other jks went +14 with 29 kills. He has been lately a boom or bust type of play but as long as he has good matchups I think he has the ability to play well and go positive on the day. There is a lot of value on today's slate of game but if you are looking for value in a Complexity stack then jks is the way to go. As jks is more trustworthy to play well rather than his teammate RUSH. jks has a 1.02 K/D in the last month and is only averaging .6 kills per round and has been going positive in about 61% of his maps in the last three months. I would definitely only roster him if you as well think Complexity sweeps as in a three-game match he is a complete boom or bust play at that point.

Other Value Plays: TeSeS(safer value over Refrezh but more expensive), RUSH, Styko, suNny(PUNT),

Top Stacks / Team Picks

Complexity: Complexity is looking like the team to beat in this group as they made fast work of FPX. Almost too quick as in the end didn't score great besides poizon who decided to go off for 44 kills and finish +17 on the day. k0nfig ended up not scoring well unfortunately but the game was so quick it didn't give much time for the rest of the team to get lots of kills. I expect this one against OG to be a lot more interesting and closer of a match. I do think Complexity still sweeps here as this OG team is up and down and could tank tomorrow after a successful performance against BiG today. poizon, BlameF, and K0nfig are definitely still in play here and all have high kill upside. Complexity is the better team though and just recently smacked OG to win the DreamHack Master Spring Qualifier just two days ago. I do expect this to happen again and make quick work of OG. Everybody is in play. Don't love RUSH but has upside in a sweep.

FPX: If renegades ever pull out a win it's more than likely going to come against FPX but I really don't think that happens. Renegades just hasn't played any high-level competition and when they do they get blown out as they did today against Heroic where they were swept. Before coming up against Complexity today, FPX had won 6 of their last 8 games and that includes two wins over the fourth-ranked Gambit and a win against EG. So they do have the ability to play against high-level teams. They dropped chrisJ and signed SuNny from ENCE which is a slight upgrade and I mainly just love the matchup against Renegades who hasn't won a single game against a Top 20 team or better since Mid January.

FPX looks like one of the best options on the slate but it's going to be about picking the right players to get as well. The first plays I would look to are Zehn and Maden here they are both around a 1.06 K/D and have high potential to go off in this matchup. Farlig is a boom or bust type play as he is incredibly inconsistent and I don't love the price either. suNny and STYKO are gross plays but if FPX sweeps that's about their only chance to score well. I would go STYKO before suNny though.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: Heroic, Renegades(GPP)

Predictions

Heroic beats BiG 2-0

Complexity beats OG 2-0

FPX beats Renegades 2-1
