Na'eem Abdul-Rahim Gladding Off to Hot Start
The season has started with a bang for wide receiver Na'eem Abdul-Rahim Gladding, who has led the Maryland passing game with 14 receptions through his first two games of the year. Abdul-Rahim Gladding went from a solid performance consisting of six receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against Hampton to an even more impressive performance in Week 2 against UConn, finishing with eight receptions for 130 yards and a score. The Terrapins junior is averaging 13.4 yards per reception and now looks ahead to a matchup with Virginia Tech on Saturday. It's not a great matchup for Abdul-Rahim Gladding on paper, as the Hokies have allowed just 137 yards passing through their first two games of the year. Still, Virginia Tech's first two opponents this season have been VMI and Old Dominion, which aren't of the same caliber as Maryland. If the Terrapins have a good day offensively, expect Abdul-Rahim Gladding to be involved prominently.
