NHL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings: Goalies, Value Plays, Stacks, and Power Plays Picks (11/13/25)

Alex DeBrincat - Fantasy Hockey Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NHL Injury News

Get today's top DraftKings daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for November 13, 2025. Doug's expert NHL DFS goalies picks, value plays, stacks, and power play picks.

Young stars and established veterans highlight tonight's 10-game slate. Out West, Sharks goalie Yaroslav Askarov is playing better than any other netminder in the league this month. Back East, Cutter Gauthier and Beckett Sennecke lead a high-powered Ducks' offensive attack into Detroit to face Dylan Larkin and the Red Wings.

In Colorado, Nathan MacKinnon continues to be the best player in the NHL, and he will take his shots against an overmatched Buffalo defense. This slate is loaded, and that's not even mentioning the Golden Knights, Maple Leafs, or the defending Stanley Cup champs, the Florida Panthers, who all also feature across the NHL. Prepare yourself for a wild night of hockey action!

I aim to help you narrow your plays to get the most bang for your DFS buck. NHL Premium members can find members of the RotoBaller NHL family on Discord, where our chat is always active. NHL DFS Analysis And Picks For 11/13/25

Detroit Red Wings (DET1 - Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, Alex DeBrincat; $21,500 DK)

Defensive Addition: Moritz Seider ($6000 DK)

The fantasy carnival known as the Anaheim Ducks heads to Detroit tonight to take on the Red Wings. They have allowed 2.6 even-strength goals per 60 minutes on the road this year, a number that’s half a goal lower than what advanced data suggests they should have allowed.

Their defensive pairing of Drew Helleson and Jackson LaCombe is one of the more generous duos in the league, allowing 3.69 expected goals, 15.81 high-danger chances, and a slate-high 36.89 scoring chances per 60 minutes on the road. Goalie Petr Mrazek has started three games and has allowed at least three goals in each one, a total of 14 goals.

As much as we enjoy the Ducks' offense (more on that below), this is a team we want to attack defensively, especially when they are on the road. It helps even more when the line that’s facing Helleson and LaCombe is one as strong as Lucas Raymond, Alex Debrincat, and Larkin. The young duo of Larkin and Raymond is finally looking like superstars, combining for nearly 24 DraftKings points.

Alex DeBrincat looks to be joining this line, and he’s playing like he did a couple of years ago in Chicago. He has combined for 15 goals and assists in 16 games, but more importantly, he is averaging a healthy 3.9 shots on goal per game. That kind of volume keeps him from ever having a horrible game.

He’s hit the DraftKings shot bonus five times over his last 11 games. Four times this season, he’s scored double-digit fantasy points without recording a goal or assist. That gives this stack a reasonable floor, and their matchup gives them one of the highest ceilings on the slate.

Colorado Avalanche (COL1 -Artturi Lehkonen, Nathan MacKinnon, Martin Necas; $21,800 DK)

Defensive Addition: Cale Makar ($8,500 DK)

I say “one of the highest” ceilings for Detroit because no team has the same ceiling as the Colorado Avalanche, and that’s before we even take into account their matchup. MacKinnon is doing what he always does, averaging nearly two goals and assists per game, an average of 22 DraftKings points.

Martin Necas and Artturi Lehkonen have combined for more than 24 DraftKings points per game, and defender Cale Makar averages 15 DraftKings points per game. That combined total of 61 DraftKings points is ridiculous, and makes them well worth their high price point, especially considering the value we can find at goalie on this slate.

That all said, Colorado has a great matchup against the Sabres. Buffalo has allowed a slate-high 3.33 even-strength goals per 60 minutes on the road this season. Goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has started three games and has given up an average of three goals per game.

His biggest weakness is that he’s saving just 60% of the high-danger shots he’s faced. The Avalanche averages a slate-high 15 high-danger chances per 60 minutes at home. This sets up to be a very high-scoring game for Colorado’s top line.

Anaheim Ducks (ANH2 - Cutter Gauthier, Mason McTavish, Beckett Sennecke; $15,600 DK)

Defensive Addition: Jacob Trouba ($4,400 DK)

We already looked at the Detroit side of their game, but let’s not sleep on the Ducks. Anaheim is second in the league with 3.94 goals scored per game, with its second line playing lights out. Gauthier is a shooting machine, taking at least five shots in six of his past nine games. He’s scored at least 10.5 DraftKings points in all but two games, surpassing 19 points in seven of 16 games.

Rookie Sennecke is one of the most productive players priced under $4000, averaging eight DraftKings points per game and scoring double-digit fantasy points in three of his prior six. Veteran Jacob Trouba skates with Mason McTavish and Sennecke on the second power play unit, and he’s found the fountain of youth this year. He’s scored at least 10 DraftKings points in eight of his past 11 games, making him a strong value at just $4400.

Anaheim will face its former goalie, John Gibson, who allowed four goals when these two teams matched up in California on Halloween, a number he’s reached in five of his nine starts this season. The defensive pairing of Ben Chiarot and Axel Sandin-Pellikka has given up 16.58 high-danger chances per 60 minutes at home this year. That’s bad news for them when facing the young, aggressive second line of the Ducks.

NHL DFS Value Stack of the Night

Ottawa Senators (OTT3 - Michael Amadio, Shane Pinto, Claude Giroux; $12,400 DK)

Ottawa has a great matchup at home tonight, facing a Bruins squad that has allowed 2.74 even-strength goals per game on the road. Advanced data suggests that the Bruins should be even worse, as that total is 0.37 goals fewer than what they were expected to allow. Part of the problem for Boston is that they’ve surrendered 13.52 high-danger chances per game, and goalie Jeremy Swayman has saved just 77% of those shots that he’s faced.

Shane Pinto has been one of the best third-line skaters in the NHL, recording a combined 14 goals and assists in 17 games. He’s averaging 2.7 shots on goal per game, taking more than three in nine games. Claude Giroux has stepped up his game recently, taking 12 shots on goal over his previous five games. Three times he’s had at least three shots. Michael Amadio is playing his best hockey of the season, scoring four of his six goals over the team’s previous five games.

NHL DFS Goalie to Target

Yaroslav Askarov (SJ - $7100 DK)

Who has been hotter in net than Askarov since the calendar turned to November? Askarov has started four games this month and has scored at least 22.1 DraftKings points in each. He’s saved an average of 32.5 shots, receiving the save bonus for 35 or more saves twice.

That kind of volume can make up for a few pucks hitting the back of the net, but when a goalie can keep the puck out of the net as Askarov has done, he achieves a ceiling game. Askarov has allowed just five goals in these four games, and the Sharks have scored enough goals for him to win each one.

Tonight’s matchup against Calgary is a friendly, as they’ve scored just 2.39 even-strength goals per 60 minutes at home this year. At just $7100, Askarov is an easy addition to any tournament lineup and is a lock for cash games.

Others in consideration: Logan Thompson (WSH), Sergei Bobrovsky (FLA), Jakub Dobes (MTL)
