Los Angeles Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani singled, stole a base, and came around to score in the first inning against the Marlins on Monday, but he didn't get much to hit for the rest of the game. He walked three times and struck out in his other at-bat to finish 1-for-2 with three walks, a run scored, and his seventh stolen base of the season. Ohtani is hitting .290 on the season with six home runs, a .243 ISO, a .399 wOBA, and 27 runs scored, which is just one behind the MLB lead held by Brice Turang. Ohtani is doing a great job as the Dodgers' leadoff hitter, even if his power numbers are slightly down, since he constantly is getting on base and creating scoring chances.--Zach Thompson
