Houston Transfer Zeon Chriss-Gremillion Named Tulane's Starting Quarterback
Houston transfer Zeon Chriss-Gremillion has been named the starting quarterback for the Tulane Green Wave. Chriss-Gremillion was in a camp competition with former Ball State quarterback Kadin Semonza for the starting job. Chriss-Gremillion started seven games in two seasons for Louisiana before transferring to Houston. Chriss-Gremillion started five games for Houston in 2024 filling in for injured starter Donovan Smith. That was his last experience as a starter. He was beat out in 2025 by Conner Weigman at Houston, prompting the transfer in the offseason. Chriss-Gremillion completed 10-of-21 passes for 108 in 2025 with a touchdown and an interception. He has 992 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns in his four-year college career. Tulane made the College Football Playoff last year under BYU transfer Jake Retzlaff.
