Alabama Receiver Lotzeir Brooks Spotted at Practice On Monday
Alabama wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks (undisclosed) was spotted at practice on Monday wearing a black, non-contact jersey and participating in drills. Brooks, who hauled in 32 passes for 441 yards and two touchdowns in 2025, was injured in practice last week and missed Thursday's intrasquad scrimmage. Coach Kalen DeBoer said that Brooks is "close to a full go" for practice, which looks good for his availability ahead of Alabama's Week 1 matchup with East Carolina on September 5. Brooks had his best game of the season in Alabama's win over Oklahoma in the first round of the College Football Playoff, catching five passes for 79 yards and two touchdowns. He is expected to be a big part of Alabama's passing game in 2026.
