NFL Week 14 Fantasy Football Weather Report

Justin Herbert - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Adam's Week 14 NFL weather report for fantasy football (2024). He looks at which NFL games will be affected by weather to make key fantasy start/sit decisions.

In the NFL, weather can significantly impact games, particularly as we head into the colder months of December and January. In this article, we will examine how various weather elements could influence the games scheduled for Week 14 of the 2024 season and what implications this may have.

We will rely on the most accurate and up-to-date weather forecasts for each stadium from AccuWeather, a source that provides comprehensive weather maps. Factors such as temperature, precipitation, wind speed/direction, and visibility can play a crucial role in shaping game outcomes and statistics.

Our goal with this article is to assist you in making informed decisions for your fantasy teams and other betting activities, allowing you to capitalize on opportunities or navigate challenges posed by weather dynamics. Here is your comprehensive fantasy football weather report for Week 14 of the 2024 season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Dome Games (No Weather Impact)

Some games in Week 14 will benefit from being played in domed stadiums, where the weather won't affect the outcome. These indoor venues provide a consistent environment.

  • Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings
  • Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals
  • Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Rams
  • Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys

Minimal Weather Impact

These outdoor games in Week 14 don't appear to have very many weather concerns.

Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, 12/8 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

It's shaping up to be a beautiful day for football in South Philadelphia. Highs will be in the low 50s with a light breeze. Winds are forecasted to gust up to 20 miles per hour (mph), but that shouldn't be enough to affect any aspect of the game.

Bryce Young and the Carolina boys have been playing much better of late, but the Eagles come into this game winners of their last eight. Expect Saquon Barkley to keep rolling against a Panthers team allowing a league-high 166.8 rushing yards per game this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (Sunday, 12/8 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

As of Friday morning, it appears the rain is going to hold off in Nashville, Tenn., for the Jaguars vs. Titans game. According to AccuWeather, rain will begin in the evening after the game has been played. As a result, it's looking like decent weather for this one with highs in the mid-50s and winds out of the south at just 10 mph.

Will Levis, Calvin Ridley, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and even Chig Okonkwo should have a field day against a Jaguars team allowing the most passing yards per game this season (273.3). On the other hand, the Jags passing attack led by Mac Jones could struggle against a Titans defense allowing the fewest passing yards per game this season (171.8).

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 12/8 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

It's going to feel like summer in South Florida for the Jets vs. Dolphins game at Hard Rock Stadium. It'll be around 80 degrees with light sustained winds of 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. There's currently just a 4 percent chance of precipitation.

The Jets have lost three straight and eight of their last nine games. Maybe the warmth will help Aaron Rodgers thaw out a bit because he's been struggling in a big way. Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will look to get back on track after freezing their bottoms off in the frozen tundra of Green Bay in Week 13. Start your studs in this one.

New Orleans Saints at New York Giants (Sunday, 12/8 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

It looks like another game with minimal weather impacts in East Rutherford, N.J., on Sunday. Highs will be in the mid-to-upper 40s with winds sustained around 8-10 mph. The Northeast United States is projected to get a lot of precipitation and ugly weather starting on Monday, December 9, but luckily, that won't affect the games in Philadelphia and New Jersey this weekend.

It'll be another week of Drew Lock starting for the Giants. He wasn't great in Week 13, but at least he tried to get the ball to Malik Nabers early and often. Don't give up on the rookie wide receiver in what is a good matchup on paper against the Saints.

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday, 12/8 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

It's not often we get 50-degree days in Pittsburgh in December, but that's exactly what we're getting this Sunday for the Browns and Steelers game. It'll be mostly sunny with just a small chance of rain. However, the winds will be a little gusty between 25-30 mph. That could have a slight effect on deep balls, but both Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson have such rocket arms that it probably won't in this one.

However, we could see the kicking game slightly affected by the gusty winds. Chris Boswell can probably still be started with how good he's been this season, but stay away from Dustin Hopkins in a game where the Browns are 6.5-point underdogs.

Las Vegas Raiders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday, 12/8 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

It'll be a picture-perfect day at Raymond James Stadium for the Raiders and Buccaneers game on Sunday. Highs will be in the mid-to-upper 70s with a light east-northeast wind of 7 mph. No weather concerns whatsoever in Tampa. Fire up all the usual suspects, including Jakobi Meyers, Brock Bowers, Baker Mayfield, Mike Evans, and Bucky Irving.

Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers (Sunday, 12/8 at 4:25 p.m. ET)

The weather in Santa Clara, Calif., might take the cake in Week 14. It'll be 65 degrees with nearly no wind and just a 3 percent chance of precipitation. Not too hot, not too cold, and a few clouds in the sky will make for amazing playing conditions at Levi's Stadium.

This is good news for both teams' passing games. You'll probably be starting Caleb Williams, DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, Brock Purdy, Jauan Jennings, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel Sr., and Isaac Guerendo in this one due to six teams being on a bye in Week 14.

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday, 12/8 at 8:20 p.m. ET)

The Chargers haven't played an outdoor game since Week 9 in Cleveland, but they'll be in Kansas City to take on the Chiefs this weekend. Luckily for this indoor team, the weather conditions appear ok in K.C. on Sunday night.

The high temperature will be in the upper 40s with sustained winds forecasted around 10 mph. Winds could gust between 20-25 mph, but that shouldn't play much of a factor in this one with both quarterbacks having lasers attached to their arms.

Make sure to check on the forecasted winds, however, before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoffs, as it could make more sense to roll with a kicker playing indoors than one playing in somewhat windy Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night.

Severe Weather Impact

Let's focus on matchups where weather conditions could substantially influence the game.

NONE - oddly enough, no games in Week 14 will be severely impacted by weather conditions.
