Thunder Dan's fantasy basketball waiver wire pickups for Week 4 of the 2025-26 NBA season. Consider these players as fantasy basketball adds, streamers, and stashes.
Whether you are in first place or dead last in the standings means very little right now, as it's been only three weeks of the fantasy basketball season. If you're leading the pack, don't rest on your laurels! And if you're bringing up the rear, don't panic and make any desperation trades or drops!
Let's keep working the wire to find the most valuable long-term pickups and short-term streamers - and stay the course! It's a long season, and there's plenty of time to get your roster looking like you want it.
I have always been an advocate of being aggressive on the waiver wire! If your league has daily lineups, you should use that to your advantage and maximize your weekly games in H2H formats when necessary. Every week, I will give you my top adds for standard 10-12 team leagues as well as deeper formats and the schedule breakdown for all 30 teams. I am using Yahoo for the percentage rostered; however, I am adjusting my benchmarks as the new 10-team high score leagues on Yahoo have impacted those percentages.

Schedule Highlights
- The Sixers are the only team that plays only two games this week.
- Most valuable back-to-backs: Utah (Mon-Tues), Charlotte (Fri-Sat), L.A. Lakers (Fri-Sat), Minnesota (Fri-Sat), Minnesota (Fri-Sat)
- Most valuable streaming schedules: Atlanta (Mon-Wed-Thurs-Sun), Cleveland (Mon-Wed-Thurs-Sat), Phoenix (Mon-Wed-Thurs-Sun), Sacramento (Tues-Wed-Fri-Sun), Indiana and Toronto (3 games but on Tues-Thurs-Sat)
Standard League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 4
Percent owned numbers for Yahoo! "Standard Leagues" refer to 10- or 12-team leagues.
We are using 25% or lower as the cutoff again this week, with 10% or below being right around where I draw the line between standard league and deep league adds.
Royce O'Neale - SF/PF (24%) and Collin Gillespie - PG (18%)
O'Neale and Gillespie should continue to have major roles in Phoenix, as Jalen Green reinjured his hamstring in his second game back. It looks like another extended absence for Green, which should mean a starting gig for O'Neale and his well-rounded game and more minutes for Gillespie as the sixth man off the bench.
Dillon Brooks has returned to reclaim his starting gig, but O'Neale started the second half of Saturday's game after Green was hurt, along with Grayson Allen, with Ryan Dunn being the one most affected by Brooks' return, as Dunn played just 19 minutes.
With four games this week, both players have a lot of appeal as streaming options. But they may be valuable for multiple weeks if Green ends up missing a big chunk of time with that hamstring.
Zaccharie Risacher - SF/PF (23%)
I had Risacher as a cut candidate a few weeks ago, and now I have to reverse course as the second-year wing has turned things around after a slow start. The absence of Trae Young has opened up a lot of shots in the Atlanta offense, which has been very balanced since Young went down.
Risacher has put up three straight nice lines, including 19 points and three treys on 50% this weekend when the Hawks were down three other starters. I am sold that he'll be viable all season, but in the short terms, he has some appeal for points, threes, and steals (8 over his last 4 games).
Max Christie - SG/SF (14%)
Dallas is a disaster right now with a slew of injuries and some wildly inconsistent rotations. However, one guy who has been relatively consistent for most of the year is Christie. He's pretty limited in terms of statistical diversity as he's mainly a points and threes play, but he's shooting 49.5% from the field and averaging just 1.0 turnovers per game.
That added efficiency makes him a bit more appealing than your average jump shooter. He should continue to provide steady, low-end production going forward.
Kyle Filipowski - PF/C (14%)
Utah has a really nice schedule this week, and the second-year big man out of Duke might be worth the gamble. If you thought Dallas was a mess, Utah is even messier. They lost Walker Kessler to injury and also lost by 40 points to Minnesota last week in a very ugly game.
Jusuf Nurkic has been starting at center, but he's obviously just a stopgap and not part of Utah's future. He's also very limited offensively, while Filipowski can score much more consistently. He's played 20 and 22 minutes the last two times out and has had two pretty good games in his last three. I don't mind taking a shot on him
Derik Queen - C (13%)
Let's talk about another team that's a disaster already this season - the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pels have been slow to give minutes to their first-round pick, Queen, but have no other choice lately as they've been running out of healthy bodies with Zion Williamson and Yves Missi both out of the lineup.
Anytime that Queen has seen minutes, he's produced and he's offered up some very sexy lines with more than just points and rebounds. He had games with 7 and 8 assists last week in addition to games with 3 and 4 steals. The big man needs time to develop, but has already shown a very impressive offensive arsenal and a solid court IQ. I think he's easily worth a stash until we see what the Pelicans plan to do with minutes, it's going to be hard for them to justify keeping him on the bench.
Kevin Huerter - SG/SF (13%)
Just three games for the Bulls this week, but I can't omit my guy Huerter, who continues to produce across the board in his bench role. He's inside the top-100 now and should be rostered in standard leagues until we see what the Bulls' rotation looks like once Coby White returns.
Harrison Barnes - SF/PF (12%)
It feels gross even recommending him, but Barnes has been about as steady as it comes for the last two weeks. He's pouring in threes at a high rate and with elite efficiency. His 55% shooting won't last forever, but he's worth a look while he's hot and knocking down shots with such regularity.
Jaylon Tyson - SF (10%)
As a Cavs fan, I am thrilled with the development of their second-year player, Jaylon Tyson, so far. They look like they may have drafted well again this year as Tyrese Proctor has looked sharp, too, but let's save that analysis for another day.
Tyson had a strong run with Darius Garland out, but was able to produce in 23 and 29 minutes in Garland's first two games back. He's been a menace on defense and is coming off a 2-steal, 2-block outing against the Bulls. He's a guy we should have on our radar as someone who could have long-term viability if Cleveland continues to give him those minutes on the wing. Max Strus's return is still a long way off.
Deep League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 4
Percent owned numbers for Yahoo! "Deep Leagues" refer to 14-team leagues or larger.
Noah Clowney - PF/C (9%)
My confidence level in Nets' players is never very high, and after three straight good games by Clowney last week, he had a 4-point dud last night as Brooklyn was blown out by the Knicks. Still, he has the starting power forward job for now and can nail threes while also grabbing some boards.
We've seen him put up some good numbers at times the last few seasons, and we know the potential is there, but the minutes are going to be a mess in Brooklyn all season, so be warned!
Cole Anthony - PG (9%)
Anthony is still quietly putting up some solid numbers as their sixth man. I'll take 12 points and five assists on 49% shooting from the worst player on my team all day. Until Kevin Porter Jr. returns, it seems Anthony's role and minutes are pretty secure.
Saddiq Bey - SF/PF (9%)
I'd much rather have Derik Queen, but Bey is a decent consolation prize as a streamer if you missed out on Queen. He was not great in his last game, but has logged 27, 30, and 30 minutes in his last three and had a 22-9 outing against Dallas last week. He's strictly points, boards, and threes, but if you need those stats, he's worth a stream.
Keldon Johnson - SF/PF (8%)
The minutes have fluctuated from 19 to 29 over his first ten games this season, but the output has been steady with Keldon delivering 12 points and 5 boards a night. If you value efficiency, he's doing it on 60% shooting and 81% from the line. But there's little else to his game for 9-cat, which is why he's more of a streamer than a guy you have to hold.
Duncan Robinson - SG/SF (8%)
Robinson had a few stinkers mixed in there last week, but has also had a few really nice games. He's starting next to an elite point guard (Cunningham) who can get him open looks, and he's still one of the better three-point shooters in the game. With Tobias Harris out, Detroit needs shot-makers on the perimeter, so expect Robinson to continue to get around 30 minutes a night and get up a bunch of shots.
Tre Mann - PG (5%)
Collin Sexton is set to return to the Hornets lineup, but with LaMelo Ball still out (we don't know for how long), Mann maintains some streaming upside with his ability to fill it up as a scorer. He's averaging over 16 points per game over his last four games and had a near triple-double (20-9-7) in a spot start against Miami on Saturday. He can easily tank your FG% as a pure gunner, but if you need the scoring, he should continue to get an opportunity to fire up as many shots as he wants.
Tristan da Silva - SF/PF (5%)
The Magic youngster has settled into a pretty solid 21-minute role off the bench and is producing nearly 12 points per game so far this season. He's knocking down 2.0 threes per game and shooting 49% from the floor. Like Keldon Johnson, there's not been much else (though 1.0 steals in 21 minutes is not bad), but if you need points, boards, and threes with some decent efficiency, he's worth a look in deeper formats.
Brandon Williams - PG (2%)
One of my super sneaky adds for this week is Williams, who has seen his minutes slowly increase lately. He's played 22 and 26 minutes in Dallas's last two games as Jason Kidd seems determined to play a lot of guys in his rotation and not give D'Angelo Russell starters' minutes. Williams is a steals machine, piling up 11 over his last four games, and would be a boon to your assists as well if he continues to work his way into a timeshare at point guard.
Jalen Smith - C (2%)
Not too many guys can do what Jalen Smith is doing in 15 minutes a night! Smith has seen his role really solidify this season, playing between 15 and 19 minutes in six straight games and cracking double figures in scoring in all but one.
He dropped 18 points and 11 boards against the Cavs on Saturday on a perfect 6-6 shooting, and four of those were threes. He is leading the bench unit is usage and offers very reliable points, rebounds, and threes. Don't discount him on his minutes alone; he can fill it up in a hurry and should really be on more rosters.
