Tyler Seguin Injured Versus Rangers
Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin (lower body) lasted only 1:12 against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night. He exited the action after absorbing a hit from Rangers defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov. His early exit from Tuesday's game leaves Seguin a major doubt for Wednesday's tilt against the New Jersey Devils. So far, Seguin has appeared in all 27 games for the Stars this season, recording seven goals and 17 points. Despite his underwhelming scoring rate, Seguin ranks second among Dallas' forwards with a plus-10 rating. Sam Steel joined the top-six group after Seguin's exit on Tuesday and could play a larger role again in Wednesday's game.
