The Las Vegas Raiders requested permission to interview Pittsburgh Steelers director of pro personnel Sheldon White for their vacant general manager position, according to a source. White is a well-respected member of Pittsburgh's front office and will now get an interview to potentially replace Tom Telesco, who was fired after just one season in Vegas. White began his scouting career back in 1997 with the Detroit Lions and was promoted to director of pro personnel in 2000. He then became the team's vice president of pro personnel in 2009 and served as the Lions' interim GM in 2015 after the franchise fired Martin Mayhew. White also worked at Michigan State from 2017-20 and for the Washington Commanders in 2021 before joining the Steelers in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
