Minnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson played a flawless game in the team's season opener against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night, backstopping the team to a 5-0 road win with a 26-save shutout. This made Gustavsson the first netminder in Wild history with multiple shutouts in season openers. Keeping the Blues at bay is no easy task, considering they were ranked 13th in scoring last season and fired blanks only twice. Gustavsson is set to face last year's eighth-best offense in the next matchup, as the Wild host the Columbus Blue Jackets in their home opener on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk
