Drake London 2023 NFL Player Outlook- Mid-Round Fantasy Gold Primed To Move Up Draft Boards
1 year agoSecond-year wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons, Drake London, looks to improve on his hot finish to the 2022 season where he saw at least eight targets and caught at least five passes in each of his last five games. Over the same final five games, he surpassed 70 yards four times and had 95 yards or more three times. We saw a concerted effort by Atlanta to get London involved more with his future quarterback Desmond Ridder, who started the final four games. Despite the heavy target volume, London failed to hit paydirt after Week 11, but his touchdown total for 2023 is ripe for significant improvement. I would set his floor at six touchdowns for the year, making him an excellent WR3 for your fantasy team with WR2 upside any given week. The main thing to love about London heading into 2023 is that he will not share targets with a deep wide receiver room. As far as pass catchers go, it's him, tight end Kyle Pitts, and the newly drafted running back Bijan Robinson. That's it. Due to the lack of competition, London should easily clear a 25% target share and flirt with 85+ receptions and 1,000 yards. London is currently being drafted as the WR29, behind players like Christian Kirk, Mike Williams, Christian Watson, and Michael Pittman, Jr., none of whom should be drafted first. He is an excellent mid-round value right now and I would be targeting him as my WR3 in all formats.
