Hello everyone, and welcome back to our Week 4 fantasy football weather report for the 2025 NFL season! The first few weeks of games brought us a ton of excitement and very limited weather issues. As a reminder, I will be here each and every week through the Super Bowl to discuss the weather forecasts for every NFL game, where appropriate. This is an article that is near and dear to my heart, as I am always looking for a weather edge where I can find one.

We will rely on the most accurate and up-to-date weather forecasts for each stadium from AccuWeather, a source that provides comprehensive weather maps. Factors such as temperature, precipitation, wind speed/direction, and visibility can play a crucial role in shaping game outcomes and statistics.

Our goal with this article is to assist you in making informed decisions for your fantasy teams and other betting activities, allowing you to capitalize on opportunities or navigate challenges posed by weather dynamics. Additionally, I hope to be able to update the article at least once each weekend before games kick off, as this article does publish on Thursdays. Here is your comprehensive fantasy football weather report for Week 4 of the 2025 season.

Dome Games (No Weather Impact)

Some games in Week 4 will benefit from being played in domed stadiums, where the weather won't affect the outcome. These indoor venues provide a consistent environment.

Minimal Weather Impact

These outdoor games in Week 4 don't appear to have very many weather concerns.

Minnesota Vikings @ Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday Morning Slate)

The Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Ireland this Sunday to play at Croke Park in Dublin. Weather for this game should be pretty solid with temperatures in the low 60s. Sustained winds will be mild at around eight mph with gusts near 15 mph. The skies will also be partly sunny with almost no chance of precipitation during the game.

Los Angeles Chargers @ New York Giants (Sunday Early Slate)

We have a matchup between two teams going in different directions when the 3-0 Los Angeles Chargers travel to the Meadowlands to take on the 0-3 New York Giants. In general, we should have solid weather for this matchup, which is not always the case in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Temperatures should be in the upper 70s and low 80s with sustained winds hovering around seven mph. Also, not surprisingly, we could see wind gusts pushing upwards of 17 mph. Winds tend to swirl at MetLife Stadium, so this is something to pay attention to if the gusts are projected to increase, but at 17 mph, I would not have any concerns at this juncture. There should also be plenty of sunshine in this one.

New Orleans Saints @ Buffalo Bills (Sunday Early Slate)

Speaking of teams heading in different directions, we have the 0-3 New Orleans Saints traveling to Orchard Park to take on the 3-0 Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium. This matchup will likely be a popular survivor pick, and thankfully, there are no real weather issues to contend with.

AccuWeather tells us to expect temperatures in the upper 60s with plenty of sunshine. Winds could be a bit high, as sustained winds are projected to come in around nine mph with occasional gusts of 25 mph. 25 mph gusts are pretty formidable, but I would not be deterred from rolling my starters out in this one.

Carolina Panthers @ New England Patriots (Sunday Early Slate)

We have an ugly inter-conference matchup between the 0-3 Carolina Panthers and the 1-2 New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. While the game itself may not be easy on the eyes when these two teams square off, at least the weather should be pretty decent.

Overall, temperatures are expected to be in the mid-70s with plenty of sunshine and relatively low humidity. Winds are expected to be around nine mph with gusts pushing 25 mph. This is a situation similar to the above game, where 25 mph winds could potentially cause some kicking issues if a gust hits just right, but I would not recommend sitting any fantasy players at this juncture.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ San Francisco 49ers (Sunday Late Slate)

We have what should be a tremendous matchup when the 2-1 Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Santa Clara to take on the 3-0 San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium. Both of these teams are coming off huge divisional wins in Week 3 and are looking to keep their momentum rolling.

The weather for this game should be pretty solid as well. Overall, temperatures are expected to be in the upper 70s with plenty of sunshine and little to no chance of precipitation. Winds will also be relatively mild, with sustained winds hovering around eight mph and gusts around 18 mph. This looks like a game that should be a full go for all of your fantasy stars.

Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday Late Slate)

We have an old-fashioned barn burner when the 1-2 Baltimore Ravens travel to Kansas City to take on the 1-2 Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. While no one expected these two teams to enter this contest with 1-2 records, that is exactly where we sit heading into Week 4. Both of these teams will be desperate to get to 2-2 and right their season, and fortunately, the weather should be good for this matchup on Sunday afternoon.

AccuWeather suggests temperatures for this game will be in the lower 80s. While there will be plenty of cloud cover, there is currently just a 12% chance of precipitation, which does not cause much concern. Additionally, sustained winds are expected to be around five mph, with gusts pushing up to 12 mph. Again, no real major concerns with this one. Start your players with confidence here.

New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins (Monday Night Slate)

We have a massive AFC East Division rivalry on tap for our first of two Monday night games when the 0-3 New York Jets travel to Miami Gardens to take on the 0-3 Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. Both of these teams have failed to win any of their first three games and will be looking to get on the right track in this one.

While we have had some weather concerns with games played at Hard Rock Stadium already this season, that does not appear to be the case here. Overall, temperatures are expected to be in the mid-80s under mostly clear skies. There is potential for a stray thunderstorm, but this appears to be during the afternoon hours and not during the actual game.

Sustained winds should be rather mild, coming in around two mph, with gusts of around 13 mph. The humidity will be high as usual in Florida at approximately 73%.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Denver Broncos (Monday Night Slate)

In our second Monday night matchup, we have the 2-1 Bengals traveling to Denver to take on the 1-2 Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. This matchup should be a fun one, and while weather can definitely be a concern later in the season in Denver, that should not be the case in this Monday Night Football matchup.

Overall, AccuWeather tells us that temperatures should be in the mid-50s under relatively clear skies. Sustained winds are expected to be hovering around 1 mph, with gusts coming in at just 6 mph. This might be the best weather we have for any game, given how low the wind speeds are and the almost 0% chance of precipitation. Start your players with confidence in this one.

Moderate Weather Impact

Let's take a look at some games where the weather is not quite severe, but could still have a moderate impact on the game and help give us some information on what types of skill players might be worth being more cautious with.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Sunday Early Slate)

We have a superb matchup between the 3-0 Philadelphia Eagles and 3-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what figures to be a serious battle between intra-conference foes. Both of these teams escaped Week 3 with wins and will look to keep their momentum going in this one. The weather could be a bit dicey, but it should not be too terrible.

AccuWeather currently shows temperatures in the upper 80s with 60% humidity. Sustained winds should be around two mph with gusts hovering around 13 mph. The only concern here at this point is the fact that a potential thunderstorm could pop up at any moment, which could also cause a lightning delay. As we have seen thus far in the Florida-based games, these occasions are not all that uncommon in September.

Severe Weather Impact

There are currently no games scheduled in Week 4 featuring severe weather concerns.
