NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel DFS Basketball Advice for 12/29/15

By Keith Allison [CC-BY-SA-2.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0)], via Wikimedia Commons

Tom Bellucco highlights the top NBA DFS lineup picks for 12/29/15, as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster on FanDuel.

We get a nice bonus game tonight, giving us five on a Tuesday. That's just enough to make this slate legitimate. Keep an eye on which of the five games you think might turn into blowouts, as that always tends to steer me away from the studs. DeAndre Jordan was looking like a sure bet for 50 FDP last night until he stopped playing early.

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for FanDuel for 12/29/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

FanDuel DFS Point Guards

Jameer Nelson (vs. CLE) - $4,700

Tonight's a value night at point guard for me. Emmanuel Mudiay is still out for the Nuggets, and Denver has continued to show confidence in Nelson as long as he has been healthy. Matthew Dellavedova is a tough matchup, but Nelson only needs 20 FDP or so to hit value. The minutes should be there for him to reach that mark.

Ty Lawson (vs. ATL) - $3,700

Despite coming off the bench, Lawson is beginning to see more minutes the past couple of games. Remember when he was the focal point of the Nuggets' offense? Well, he can be just that on the Rockets' second unit. Lawson is starting to shoot the ball more, and it doesn't take much for him to hit value these days. I'm saving my money for the studs elsewhere.

FanDuel DFS Shooting Guards

James Harden (vs. ATL) - $10,500

I'm not a huge fan of this price, but the blowout potential in the other games brought me right back to Harden when it comes to rostering studs. Despite the steady decline in minutes, Harden is still hovering around 35 or so. He's been average his past two outings, and you know he'll be asked to keep his team in this one. We're looking for a takeover game from The Beard here.

Kent Bazemore (at HOU) - $5,400

On the other side of the ball, Bazemore's minutes are increasing steadily. The starting guard for the Hawks is only getting more involved in the offense, and the Rockets have been atrocious against opposing guards this year. The Hawks will likely settle for shots with Dwight Howard protecting the rim, and Bazemore gets his fair share in this offense.

FanDuel DFS Small Forwards

Carmelo Anthony (vs. DET) - $8,300

Melo is one of the hottest players in the game right now. His price is starting to catch up with him, but on a smaller slate he's tough to avoid. He should be able to keep this game relatively close with his dynamite shooting, so go ahead and use Melo over LeBron James and Kevin Durant in blowout situations on Tuesday.

Jeff Green (vs. MIA) - $4,500

Matt Barnes will miss the next two games for Memphis after his suspension, and while we don't know exactly how those minutes will be doled out yet, I'm willing to assume that Green will get a handful of them. That would likely put him right at 30 minutes, and that's enough for me to overcome the worrisome nature of a Heat vs. Grizzlies game from a fantasy standpoint.

FanDuel DFS Power Forwards

Chris Bosh (at MEM) - $7,4000

Speaking of hot players, holy Chris Bosh. This dude can't miss right now, and when that happens, the offense runs through him. No Matt Barnes should help his cause, and there's no way I'm steering away from him on a small slate.

Clint Capela (vs. ATL) - $4,900

This pick hinges on the availability of Terrence Jones, as he is listed as doubtful. If Jones sits, it's likely that Capela draws the start alongside Howard here. The Hawks haven't been great against bigs this year, and Capela is well worth it if he's going to be playing 30 minutes. He seems to get a put-back slam at least twice a game. If Jones plays or Capela is not in the starting lineup, Ersan Ilyasova makes an OK pivot point.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Andre Drummond (C, at NY) - $9,700

Last but not least, the must-start guy of the night. I came into this slate with Drummond as a lock, and it worked out really well that I could fit a few extra studs in. Drummond has begun to show his ability to completely dominate the boards again in the past few outings, and that should not stop in The Garden. The Knicks are a team that can be rebounded against, and Drummond should get his fill of on Tuesday. Don't get cute here.
