Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (8/26/21) - DraftKings Daily Fantasy

Koby Hansons' DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 8/26/21. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. What a perfect day, Forze killed it and we got them low-owned, Complexity pulled off the win and OG may have struggled but still got the dub. We come into the final day of Group B as G2 and Virtus Pro get each other, Complexity and OG, and lastly, Forze gets SinnerS. The teams are locked as Forze, Complexity, and OG have all locked spots in the playoffs and are now playing for seeding.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis, and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Thursday, August 26th, 2021, at 7:30 AM.

Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections, and DFS Cheat Sheets! ESL Pro League Season 14

Best of 3

  • Complexity (+125) vs. OG (-170)
  • G2 (-140) vs. Virtus Pro (+110)
  • forZe (-170) vs. SinnerS (+130)

Captain Plays

Fl1t: Fl1t has been nothing but a demon lately. He has positive games in all 4 games in the tournament so far and went ballistic today against G2 scoring a +25. Against OG he had +9, against VP +11, and against Complexity he had +5. Now yes he is the most expensive on the board but he has shown that he is also one of the best plays on the board. Getting him in as captain is tough, but I believe there is enough value on the board to make it work. He seems to be kicking it more into gear too and against SinnerS, that sounds perfect. During this tournament, Fl1t is averaging a 1.29 K/D with a .74 KPR and a .57 DPR which is very low for someone who isn't running AWP. That's something I like a lot. 9,600$ isn't cheap but if he keeps it up, he could be well worth it.

Jame: Jame hasn't been his normal self during this tournament but he looked much better today against Complexity and in their win over SinnerS. He gets a great matchup against G2 that seems to love dying to AWPs and Jame is one of the best in the game at that right now. He has had a positive K/D in his last three matches and is averaging a 1.29 K/D with a .69 KPR and a .54 DPR. His K/D differential has been +27, +12, and +8, with two of those games being losses, I really like Jame in this spot against G2, and is definitely one of the first players in on most of my lineups. He is a slight discount from some of the top players on the board, and I think taking advantage of a struggling G2 team is the perfect spot for Jame to continue crushing it.

Other captain plays in order of preference: Mantuu, Yekindar, BlameF, zorte

Jerry: I'm not sure why Jerry got such a bump down in his price but I'm all over it. He is 5,200 in an elite matchup against Sinners. Forze is looking pretty dominant right now and SinnerS don't have much to play for but pride. Jerry has had a couple of good games and had a great game in their sweep over G2 just today. He has had a couple of rough games but I think he keeps the momentum going and crushes it at his price tomorrow.

Buster: I think buster is in a really good spot here at 5,800$. His price is much more reasonable than qikert and Buster is a much better player than Sanji. He has been positive in his last two and has been a top 3 Fragger in 3 of the 4 games during this tournament. He is currently sitting at a 1.00 K/D with .63 KPR and DPR. I like this play against G2 because of how they are struggling. This game could end up being a 2-0 win for VP or it might go to 3 maps but either way at Buster's price it's worth a shot.

Other value plays in order of preference:jks, niko, Kensi, qikert

Top Stacks / Team Picks

VP: This is more targeting against G2, rather than targeting VP in general. Both these teams are at the bottom of the Group surprisingly and I think VP has been the better team ever so slightly. They have kept games close against Forze and Complexity and have a 2-0 win over Sinners. G2 only has 2 map wins in this tournament so far. I do like Forze much more but they were my team pick yesterday and I didn't want to be repetitive. So know Forze is a top Stack.

As for players, Jame and Yekindar are definitely the best options here, both have are normally at the top of the leaderboard for their team and it's just a matter of figuring out who to get if you aren't playing both. I like Yekindar at his price but his inconsistency in this tournament has me a bit worried. Jame hasn't been the best but I like him as the AWPer against G2. The next option I like is buster at his price, he has been the consistent third player on his team and is priced down as the 4th or 5th fragger on the team. I think we are getting great value from buster here who has played pretty well in these last three games where VP has at least taken a map. Qikert would be the next player but his price is a little high for me. Sanji is a fade.

Other stacking options: ForZe, OG, Complexity(GPP)
