Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (10/29/21) - DraftKings Daily Fantasy

Koby Hansons' DraftKings. DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 10/29/21. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. Our captain picks crushed as well as Ence and Mouz coming through big time as my favorite stacks. paiN failing to close out map 2 led to Astralis getting the sweep unfortunately though which end up being the only sweep on the day. But otherwise, we crushed it and we have another day ahead of us as BiG takes on Mouz and Spirit takes on Astralis. The winner moves onto the next stage and the loser is eliminated from the tournament. Let's dive right in!

Captain Plays

ropz: I have to go right back to ropz, especially after the game he just had against Renegades. He is looking hot right now and I'm going to ride that train. Today he went +25 on 75 kills over three maps. He was the big factor in why MOUZ won this game, and they are going to need him to perform against a tough BiG team. Over a month of play on LAN and ropz has a 1.26 K/D with a .80 KPR and a low .64 DPR. He is also at a great price and has to be one of my favorite lineup pieces tomorrow.

mir: Other than his most recent match against VP today, mir had been looking great. Now Astralis I would say is worse than VP and I think we are getting a much closer and more favorable matchup for Spirit. mir's price at 7,400$ has to be one of the lowest I have ever seen him at. He is usually one of the top fraggers on his team and has that spark the team needs to move on, and if Spirit is going to move on to the next stage, they will need mir to step up in this matchup. I'm hoping for a big game from him going into this matchup. Over the last three months, mir holds a 1.12 K/D with a .74 KPR and a .66 DPR.

Other captain plays in order of preference: frozen, degster, dupreeh, syrson

 

Value Plays

sdy: sdy is a completely different player on LAN than he is online. He has been positive in 3 of the 4 matches during this tournament with a +2 against VP in a loss, and then +13 against TYLOO and +6 against GODSENT. He has definitely been the most consistent on the team oddly enough as it is usually mir or degster doing all the work. During this tournament, he has a 1.14 K/D with a .76 KPR and a .67 DPR. He is also only 6,600$ and in a dead-even matchup, we are getting great value on him.

Gla1ve: Gla1ve hasn't looked too bad during this tournament and he is the cheapest on his team for this slate. I think we are getting great value for a player that is a top three fragger during this tournament and is priced like the worst on the team. He went +6 on the day against PaiN and GODSENT, both games they won. Gl1ave is a great pair with dupreeh or Magisk if you are stacking Astralis. He has a 1.05 K/D with a .70 KPR and a .67 DPR during this tournament.

Other value plays in order of preference: acoR, k1to, magixx, syrson

Top Stacks / Team Picks

All of them: This slate is almost dead-even when it comes to who you want to stack, so instead of focusing on one team, I'm gonna give advice on all 4 teams and the routes I would look at for each team. I think my favorite stack would probably be Mouz, just because of how inconsistent BiG can be. All of the players looked great today but based on pricing, ropz is by far one of my favorite plays on the slate. Frozen is a bit expensive but is doable if you can fit him into your lineups. As for the last three players, acoR than Bymas than Dexter would be the way I look at them. Dexter is very inconsistent and needs specific maps to have good games. acoR and Bymas have looked good recently though and I like them.

As for BiG, syrson has been the best during this tournament so far and would be my first look from BiG. Tabsen is a good option too if you can afford to get to him as well. k1to would be the only cheap option I like, tizian has been awful during the tournament and I don't see him getting many points unless BiG in the off chance sweeps. gade has not lived up to the standards since joining BiG a few months ago and it has shown during this tournament as well.

For Astralis, first off Magisk is too expensive, I'm avoiding him and paying down to Dupreeh who I see as the best option from this Astralis team. Astralis has looked great against the two Brazilian teams they have faced but when they started against Copenhagen and Entropiq they were absolutely demolished. I don't see them getting demolished but I don't think Astralis should be favored here. Lucky has not looked good during this tournament at all, even in their wins. He is a fade for me. Gla1ve at that price is very much in play, of the bottom three players, he has definitely shown to be the best. It looks as if the time off for him has really helped him. He has been a top-three fragger for his team in every game during this tournament so far. Xyp9x has been okay but I'd rather go down to Gla1ve.

For Spirit, these prices are very soft on them and are very likely going to be the higher owned GPP play. I don't mind that though as sdy and mir have looked great during this tournament and we are getting them at great prices. Degster hasn't looked the best but his price is cheap enough that if we catch him on a good day then he isn't a bad play. I also like the AWPing matchup with him against Lucky who has been horrible during the tournament. Chopper is a complete fade. With magixx, you could play him but personally, I would just get up to sdy as he has been much better.
